With the health of our wrs, I'd take manny right now. We aren't using tavaris harrison right now, and he deserves a real look. But I'd take manny in that spot happily.

He was indeed pretty good at one point. Around the top of the 2nd tier of qbs just out side the elite most of the time imo. IF harris came to a situation like collaros did when he came here, how far would he go? I feel like he's always been prone to being anti clutch and not succeeding in the red zone. I feel like he's always been a head case too. Schoen is 6'1, but he plays like he's 6'6. Dressler was like that as a small guy. And yeah certainly he is not an over achieving undersized guy like that.

Ellingson wasn't lighting the world on fire last year either. He was pretty written off on the GDTs here.

I just hope he lasts long enough for the als to get blown out. Would rather our D not have to spend half the game playing a back up they haven't prepared for. I wonder when the last time a trevor harris lead team beat the bombers in a meaningful game...

I wish we’d use him in limited sub packages. Get the ball into his hands in a quick easy way and give him some blockers. But have an actual wr take the wr snaps. I think the balance with grant could come from not just being the gimmick guy but as misdirection. He can easily freeze some defenders and draw a guy away from the play side on various runs and screens. Very much like what demski does at times. Though to be honest mcgrae can do every thing on offense that grant can.

Glad jeffcoat and Walker are back. Wish we’d use one di on wilcotts instead of Harrison or mcgrae. But it’s progress.

My first knee jerk reaction was negative. The interview in the pre season when he was with ssk on his health status and continuing to play was scary. But really when you’re looking at mbt Franklin or collaros or talking about trying to get kg out of retirement atleast collaros had a pulse and experience with success. the point when I knew we really found some thing special was the crazy scramble td pass to darvin adams.

Maybe 6 monthes prior to the trade every team in the league wanted Franklin.

Yeah I get it. That’s about all I can think though. That or the blocking. But then bucks offense and usage can be really uninspiring at times.

I think the view of this trade around the league was one of good insurance but from a place of desperation. I don’t think any one saw us getting an mop in this trade even the mafia. I was thinking about it last night actually. If we had picked up collaros to start the 2018 season and he performed like he has since taking over the starters role, do we win that grey cup too? If we had him in 17 how far do we go? Also if we had Masoli instead of collaros as we often pursued him do we win any cups?

We must dress but not use dis on offense. It is the law. seriously though maybe he’s just not up to speed on the play book and cfl rules and they want the extra body because we are soo thin at wr? We make strange roster decisions some times. I would think Harrison being able to stretch the field could open up a lot for schoen underneath him and the run game. Maybe he isn’t a good enough blocker at this point? That’s pretty important among all our wrs. Even grant has to block when he’s in.

High 4.3 best time too. I think what people don’t get about him is that he isn’t like lucky whitehead running top gear every where. He conserves energy and uses the burst when he needs it. You see it a lot in his route running and when the ball is in the air. He just turns it on and pulls away from guys. They never see it coming. He’s as fast on the last snap as the first snap. The kid has polish like he’s got 20 nfl starts under his belt. Never seen a rookie soo smooth smart and well rounded. Love the conversation with zach on the side line too. You can tell despite his success he’s still focused and humble. Can’t say enough good things about that kid. Yeah he’s gonna be a good one given time and reps.

How do you not get fired up watching Brady’s runs last night? He was trucking people and piles. The most physical running since guys like josh ranek and mike sellers played in the cfl. and yeah Carey is the best back right now. When healthy stanback is the best runner but Carey is more well rounded. Can’t miss picking between those two. I liked how philpot looked too. Fast and smooth. But the tsn haters were too busy sharpening their spears and pinning to write an obituary for the bombers to notice any thing else.

Lots of bad teams stack up tackles. It might be tough this year for a bomber to win modp. But the voters got that it wasn’t about stats last year. Right now Willy would by my candidate for us. If kyrie has stayed healthy it’d be him and I think he’d be a shoe in. He was killing it before he got hurt.
