Agree I’m a big fan of the 30, especially up here. You gain tremendous versatility, and way better pressure options. The D is solid. If we’d get away from Thomas and biggie it’d be sick.

Yeeeep. But they might delay it. Adam’s is being used soo much as an end and we use the 30 front more than the 40. It’s not a bunch is the problem. Dobson is a mauler. Eli, wallace but he’s raw. Neuf is toast. We could put out a killer road grading interior if we wanted.

Couture really stung, but to be frank, ELI would be better if we actually started him. Desjarlais is one of my favorite linemen. Soo damn talented, nasty, and young. Money wise, I don't think you could keep the core of guys like schoen BO etc with that fat contract. Ideally, I would have kept desjarlais and built around him. Losing brown is worse imo. We can find canadian guards. Finding qbs like that is damn hard. He's making like 270k a year, as a guard. You just can't make that work long term. I'd a paid 200-maybe 225. But damn near 300k for a guard? Nah. Not even him.

Wallace flashed really well in the first pre season game, idk if he’s ready or not. Certainly wouldn’t be the worst ol or rookie ol forced into action. I’d be ok if we stuck Vanterpool at guard even. Ol needs shaking up that’s for sure.

Nailed it, I feel the same way. I just want to see us play hard the whole game and play to win from prep through the final whistle. Not spot teams free stretches of games, easy rosters etc.

Honestly we are in a position we need to start an air lift of guys moving. Our needs are piling up and we don't have the bodies to fill the holes. Yeah losing bolo really hurt. I really like Clercius but we could've been in an incredible situation with ni wr depth. We even did it to petey, he hasn't gotten a real chance but has kicked around a bunch since he left here. That guy was wasted to a tragic degree.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of his though I'm not sure if he is a part of the culture problem in TO or stuck under it. Hate that %&*$ eating grin after a loss. Im sure he doesn't too, but its a big difference between doesn't like and hates losing. 100% he almost seems to view it as a fan wanting a good game rather than domination.

I’m being accurate. He was the 2nd best ol last night. He’s maybe the most athletic lineman in the entire league. Guards play with bend too lol. 100%. He just gets driven back by every one. dobson does get a barely passing grade only Bryant gets a good grade. Lofton is a mild fail, neuf and kola get the worst grade our ol has seen in years. He’s skinny fat build too. He’s small for the position and about as athletic as the average poster on here. Lofton isn’t a tackle, he’s a guard. Kolo isn’t a pro ol. All he can do is snap. Literally that’s it. We are going to see a nose player every game he starts till his career is done.

And Montreal rotates the most of any team. 7 for them is 7 guys who will play a decent chunk of reps. not enough navy seals.

To be fair that aligned with the majority of the retained roster getting raises. Kongbo got premium starter cash and wasn’t a starter and desjarlais got crazy money. I don’t blame Walter’s for losing those two. If I blame Walter’s for any thing it’s not reigning in mos rosters and cuts.

Generally it’s heads up alignment then play side gap responsibility. In a pass play with a rusher in the A gap that means guard takes him, centre helps secure. That said, switch offs happen and you might have the g help the t double or take the end to allow the t to slide to an overload. Generally for that it’s just pointing. Ie nuef would point if he’s gonna slide over. Ultimately though, if the C isn’t engaged on the other side and no one is in position for a delay rush the C should cut off the inside rush even with out a switch. The centre is the glue guy, he does what ever is needed at the time. Idr but I think neuf pointed. They had the same kind of break down in week 1. Problem is both have the mobility of a rascal scooter hauling a 500 lber with no charge.
