  1. This. He’s 33. He’s been in the cfl for 7 seasons. He’s made no progress and just can’t play. But some how keeps getting jobs.
  2. Honestly looking at the blue jays tv ratings the mls ratings and cfl tv ratings then looking at the difference in the values of those deals it’s striking how cheap tsn is with quality and price. That said aiming for 20k attendance is too low. 20k should be viable but the league shouldn’t be built around that. The cfl needs a competitive tv deal with a partner that will put effort into the product.
  3. Mostly green guys. I would say we’ve made the most of our breaks and made some tremendous plays in the clutch. How many times does a secondary need to make amazing game winning picks before it’s recognized as talent and preparation instead of luck I wonder. we’ve also faced more adversity this year than we have since collaros took over. Soo many big injuries and departures.
  4. Right now I think ott and ssk would start him immediately atleast while their starters get healthy. I also think ham would seriously consider benching evans for streveler. He did fine off the bench and their offense worked a lot better with a mobile qb.
  5. Bang on. Mos sets an extremely high bar for effort, preparedness, physicality and team work. He doesn’t enforce it with an iron fist, he doesn’t have to. He leads by example and has built a culture where the locker room checks it self. if any thing guys don’t want to disappoint mos or let down the trust he puts in them. That’s why he gets the most out of players. watching the grey cup parade in the stadium the best example of his leadership was him and his wife picking up garbage off the field. Idk how many coaches in the league would do that. But he did it with a smile. some times his personnel choices drive me crazy. But man id have no problem giving him a life time contract because he’s always going to lead a high character team
  6. He took number 2. Demski Bailey ellingson and woli all came in with more experience and with collaros no less. it’s not old us football lol. Being no1 or no2 sb or wide out does not mean you are just running guys off or being the pick guy in a run route. The layering concepts run here especially in our offense means who ever gets open succeeds. Bailey has been in wr1 spot and has hardly done any thing this year. but this offense also moves wrs around a lot. You might be sb3 but you’ll see snaps all over the field. Unless you are woli and blocking half the time if you can’t get pass attempts in this offense it’s all on you. they didn’t just demote Bailey etc for schoen based on camp lmao. Schoen gets open. I think it’s a matter of time. When he’s 29 the nfl isn’t still gonna be calling. Come that time I 100% think he’d come back here or to the cfl in general to get a chance to actually play. He loved it here.
  7. Soo dumb. A none mobile fajardo is below replacement level. The bottom third of the league is wide open. They have no reason to do any thing but protect him. the dicker boys of sask are truly the dumbest and poorest run organization the league has seen since the gliebermens.
  8. He played one more game than schoen at a time when our wr core was struggling much more and with as many or more injuries. when McKnight first came on the roster demski was hurt adams was hurt and lawler was hurt. He played when all those guys were out or banged up and woli was banged up for part of it too. Bailey was struggling mightily with his hands and adams did too when he came back. we ran a bunch of screens and stuff called for McKnight. We don’t run a lot of plays designed for schoen. The difference is what schoen has done with his opportunity. Namely get open and catch every thing. He’s been able to stretch the field and do damage after the catch. I hope he manages to get into a game or two so he can qualify for the pension.
  9. We can’t really asses his hands given what we’ve seen but I have also seen no reason to believe he has the hands or any thing else to make up for his lack of athleticism and size. imo he got more opportunity than agudosi or schoen. It al makes sense now. He’s antman and has to go finish making his new movie. Mos you sly dog.
  10. Couture still not even on the list. This team is desperate for warm bodies on the ol.
  11. He’s tiny and slow. Guys with his mix of skill set and physical tools almost never succeed. The huge majority were screen passes for nil. Longest completion is 11 yards with 6.4 yard per catch.
  12. Especially after stretches of 3 games in 10 or 12 days. The league sucks at scheduling.
  13. Can’t agree enough about ksb. Super talented young gun.
  14. They should. Trade them for a couple cis and bcjfl teams.
  15. Trade dead line. Argos out of the play offs, bombers trade a conditional pick to bring him home for the rest of the season and win a third ship.
  16. One of the best Canadians best backs and biggest stars the league has scene. Breaks my heart that another great bomber rb had to do it else where.
  17. I think its because he runs conservatively. Uses his burst smart and plays at a level that he can maintain the whole game. Like milt did. He knew when to turn on the jets and when to go at a pace he could maintain all day. A lot of fast guys struggle with that. They really lean on their speed. Schoen doesn’t need to lean on it because he’s soo polished and smart.
  18. Cooper kupp for me. It’s pretty crazy that he ended up here. If he stayed next year he could put up insane numbers. But I’m sure he will be nfl bound. he’s top 10 now. Pretty easily
  19. One run attempt. I pass targets. I’d wager less than 10 combined reps. Ridiculous. Especially for such a banged up wr core.
  20. Clock never stopped the drives just ran the time down the whole game. Tsn must've been furious they couldn't get their usual 10 commercial breaks per half in.
  21. The ultimate victory of the bend but dont break philosophy. Reid, harris, or blink probably wouldve had that many yards or more last night.
  22. The ugliest game of the season for the bombers. But glad it’s a win.
