  1. True. Man if he takes a shot at collaros the fall out is going to be huuuuuge
  2. After any kind of intent to injure suspension a follow up intent to injure fine should automatically be a one game suspension minimum. That should last the whole season. You can’t be sorry then do it again.
  3. Feels like forever since the last game day. Let’s go blue!
  4. Lirim isn’t waiting in the wings for any one in the cfl. He’s not coming to the cfl for top kicker pay. And bringing in a guy like that is a death blow to a younger guy that’s been doing the job. you do not mess with kickers heads. You don’t bring in guys lightly.
  5. Mudge was thought of much the same way as Bryant before his departure. Media has named all stars that couldn’t get a job on the pr the following year. It means less than nothing. He hasn’t been the best lt in the league at any point this year. From game one the left side has been a disaster top to bottom. T is the hardest spot to change here but heavy doses of change are needed. I can’t say who would kick inside better though Bryant has done that regularly in the past in goal line formations. This ol is not one change away from being good either.
  6. Shivers deserves a good job but when you have a toxic heap you gotta cut it out root and stem. Even a good coach needs to go. I don’t believe dicker makes him start the dirty bastard either. He’s gotta take his responsibility too. I could see handing him the reigns mid season and if he turns it around culture wise keep him. But other wise they need to clean house and get that crap locker room sorted.
  7. They kept Castillo on the pr for a good long time in mediocre first year too. They knew he was good but what can you do when you’re behind the goat? Eventually he was gonna leave to get a chance to play and did. I like the guy even though he went for the money this off season I don’t blame him.
  8. If I was them I’d can both and go after Ted goveia and jy as dc. Idk who id go after for hc it’s going to be an insane feeding frenzy for hcs in the off season.
  9. I feel like this season has to be the final nail in dickers coffin.
  10. He played last season in the west final… This is what I assume. Either he doesn’t want to play or he doesn’t want to play enough to get the shot. Damn shame. our ol isn’t dominant. It hasn’t been at any point this year. Playing on the line isn’t easier when it’s freezing. Every thing in football is hard when it’s really hot or really cold. last years schedule was craptastic and every bit as bad. And the previous 4 ish years saw lots of time lost due to injury on the ol. The line isn’t going to get healthy mid season or late season. Especially playing continually. The only chance at improvement will be a change which unless desjarlais gets cut is going to have to be an imp coming in for an ni. But at this point a double switch would be optimal with kola out and imp in and sliding a couple guys around. Change like that is difficult at first but easily surmountable mid season.
  11. If they actually play him at guard sure. Right now unless he’s a hot mess I’d put him at centre. I bet a lot of people would’ve said that of Dave mud he and a bunch of guys late in their career. Bryant is far from out worst ol, but he’s been beaten badly especially by bull rushes a lot this year. His side of the ol has been significantly worse. I’m not saying he can’t get it done and maybe hardrick could succeed at guard now despite struggling at it when he came here. But the fact is our ol play is the biggest risk to the teams success and collaros career. And it’s not by a small margin. you can’t just go out and find starting quality ni ol mid season. You can find starting quality imps though.
  12. No one has been soo good this year that their job is safe. It’s very likely that he would’ve taken a guard spot or we would’ve moved a tackle inside if we have one capable. These things are not set in stone long term that’s just not how football roster management works. Every thing is fluid week to week. This is handily the worst ol play we’ve seen since the drew Willy days.
  13. Would be good imo. But I suspect they’d go with Lofton who was scary bad at tackle in pre season. Maybe he’d be less atrocious at guard. Sure wish Richmond was healthy. He would’ve already taken a starting job if healthy imo.
  14. Terrible news. Hope the kid recovers well and quickly.
  15. If the riders miss the play offs I’m pretty sure dicker gets fired. But do you think he’d get canned if they are the visiting team in a semi final and lose? Riders are due for a rebuild. the rest is varying shades of disappointment imo.
  16. I think the league forgot that he's still playing some how. He's in a blind spot like every db hes played against. Yep. Soo much money and titles that guy has they don;t have any flexibility. Really this is best case scenario for them though. If the team was fringe OK, Cui would have his hands tied trying to get rid of him in the off season. Now, he can tear down that front office and build it properly.
  17. Early on in his time here I remember him playing and hobbling with the ball not even able to run. A lot can be said about Harris and you can question various aspects but his on the field determination and toughness is not surpassed.
  18. I thought it was pretty big that all those guys stayed on the off week. First time all year they could get home. Texans know how to deal with and beat the heat. The fact they had a group event in mb instead is a great statement about the dedication of this squad.
  19. Yeah and I’m pretty sure he’s gonna qualify early this season.
  20. They are not at all likely to be in that situation. That’d be a maybe once in 50 year occurrence. It’s most likely the first game has implications for bc for home field and the last has none for any one. Not for long. West final is very very seldom up for grabs in the last two weeks of the year. Only three teams are more than 1 game above 500 and two two games or more above 500. One of them is the bombers. You’re drastically over valuing 500. The middle tier of the league is very close to the bottom segment. Out side of the top three and edm the difference is negligible at best. if things keep up as is the west will be decided with a month to go again.
  21. The last two weeks of the season games against bc will also likely be back ups vs back ups. Bc is two games back with 10 games and only 1 buy left. Calgary is 2 games back of them with 10 games and 1 buy. 3 wins and the right couple of loses probably locks up the west. We take atleast one from ssk one from bc and the game vs edm.
  22. They have no ol no pass game 2nd fewest first downs 2nd fewest total yards 5th in points for in the 4/5/6 dear heat for points allowed most penalties against by a lot etc. they are good at running the ball getting sacks and have been Stupid lucky with getting fumble bounces. They’ve also allowed the most sacks they have 1 win against the west division and are plus 8 in pf pa. We are plus 88 bc is plus 119 and Calgary is plus 56. to put their line play into perspective they are -1 in sacks for against. We are plus 5 in more games played. They give up .8 yards per completion more than they gain. We gain 1.2 yards more per pass than we give up. They give up 13.1 higher qbr against than we do. They gain 1.2 more ypc than they give up but the worst second down conversion by a mile they give up 8.5 % higher conversion while we convert at a 6.4% higher rate. which is a gigantic head to head difference. 38% second down conversion to 54% on offense.
  23. Plus 3 byes in that stretch more home games than road and ba getting off the ir. Contrarian gonna be contrarian
