I think the other canary in the mine type players are schmekel (barring a big step forward as a player) Thomas (starting/number of reps) Cole and Kelly (both should easily be on the game day roster) and to a lesser extent kola vs Eli. I think they feel pot committed to keeping Bennett around still, but we did cut faith quickly in the past. And I think it’s similar with Sheahan I think they want to see how he will do in a better kick cover/punt system. Atleast I sure hope so.

One way or another the old boys club is going to die. Either we kill it this year, or it kills our contention and dies with a whimper. This off season has given me hope that we are killing it and focusing on building the best team possible. A big indicator will be imo, our use of the nationalized American rule. If we are using it like every other team then the worm has turned. No one had been published league wide for how the rule has been used and iirc it grows this year. If we continue to pass on it, we are in trouble.

I really like what Parker brings, he’s soo quick and explosive with tremendous tackling it’s hard to understand how he sat soo much late last year while we ran out some guys who didn’t do any thing well. his quickness looked incredible off the edge on the few snaps like that. That’s a look that would terrify ocs and qbs. He reminds me of prime Lamar mcgriggs. He can do most any thing you need, including just read and reacting as a rover. Brian Clark was kind of similar too. That was a heavier set era, and Lamar was incredibly strong for his size but I think he could fill that kind of role for us that year. Do a bit of every thing move him around and really force offences to adapt.

Cole is a guy to me that if he improves in the slightest from last year we just need on the field. I think you could play him at either lber spot, or Sam or S. personally I’d take advantage of that and move him around and use that versatility to get other guys on the field for packages. And also to limit the reps of Kyrie/biggie keeping them healthier hopefully. He’s strong, fast, physical, got all the motor and drive in the world and strong anticipation skills. He’s got modp upside, and reasonable ability to fulfill that potential with reps and coaching. Kramdi I think has upside and use situationally. He puts him self in position, but is hit or miss when it comes to actually making plays. Short yardage/goal line, clear running downs I think he’s an asset. And he is more useful in coverage than the limited Halletts Imo. But he shouldn’t start Sam or other wise.

Gotta get that pick though lol. We have a ton of flexibility and I think how we use it will change a lot through out the year. We didn’t bring lbers to rookie camp this year it seems. So he could be in taking reps as a db for practice, which would be smart. But I would love Cole at especially S. but even as a Sam his instincts and reaction time is great he has a real knack for making plays.
-
I think the smart/best usage is starting ford and platooning Kramdi. We could start both but that’s a huge risk especially when our other ni dbs can only play S. Ford should take the spot, but we have done crazy things especially with Nis. I’d actually love to have Karamoko as a db on the roster too, but not likely to happen. if any thing in the secondary I’m not sold on our view of Parker. I really like him, but we seemed to have no confidence in him last year. Ba needs to be 100% and get back close to where he was. If not, I’d look hard at Kelly as S or another imp like Cole.
-
Nichols holm and ba start. Ba needs to bounce back, Parker should be at the front of the battle for a spot. Kramdi/ford. Even if we start nichols holm ba Parker and one Canadian, that leaves us with one rookie starter. 2 rookies starting is what I’m expecting, with a bounce back from ba. Gonna need a lot of rookie db bodies this camp. We will probably still add and subtract another 5/6 during camp.

Disgusting culture surrounding victims. This is a good step in the right direction. Even if Kelly ends up being innocent. In such case though I’ll find it in superman first. Contrarian $&@! Posting at it’s peak. yep. Trauma bonding, hard to get dream jobs people work their lives for, victim entrapment so many reasons. Weinstein to McMahon many examples with in depth explanations and that doesn’t even scratch the surface. -
It’s not a Chris jones or dicky team that’s going to have 5 blown acls in the first days of camp due to sheer stupidity. 100% they are going to coach the guys and see how they soak it up and how motivated they are. Head stuff always comes first around here.

This is a great point. If the argos are any bit as guilty as it’s been made out they should immediately be punished and not get support. That said I don’t think the league will punish the argos in a way that hurts their on the field quality. -
https://pittsburghpanthers.com/sports/football/roster/john-petrishen/11398 https://www.si.com/college/pittsburgh/football/johnny-petrishen-notice-pitt-pro-day petrishen was in camp with the Leo’s last year. https://govandals.com/sports/football/roster/tre-thomas/6426 Bunch of highly athletic ideal size/build wils with good experience. 100%. If he makes a decent come back it’ll be borderline viral as well. He was considered a LeBron James level generational talent. Offered scholarships to virtually every big d1 program before starting high school. He was frequently listed as 6’3 240, but is likely 6’1 and a shade under 220. But if he put it together he would be strong enough to play either wil or Mac.

Jy vs Milt would be worth it to see alone. Okeke was kick around the league couple years ago. Iirc raw huge prospect from lsu. Moses is a super high upside guy. Said that a lot this year but for real, probably the highest guy this year. 4.4 40 pro day, allegedly ran sub 4.4 in the past. That type of insane nfl outlier athlete. Immense strength. The catch is health, he’s had a bunch of injuries and no idea what he might be right now. Honestly, I don’t expect a guy like that to click. If he does, watch out. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/dylan-moses/32004d4f-5324-1011-695d-c9d89ae7f1f3

Even if they do tbh roster wise. The markets are tapped. I dont think route comes back this year, even if the argos get the bonus and cap hit back fully they have no way to replace him. -

I give it a 30% chance Kelly never successfully completes his re-entry program. -

He did. He chided the argos league office and Kelly deservedly so imo. wow this is kind of shocking. Using a league or team investigation is fast. The argos and Kelly just disputed the claim. Heavy handed late and right after the dispute is very peculiar. I am glad the league is taking a serious stance on this. -
I mean its rookie camp. We will probably cut 5+ of those guys by the end of mini camp. We've got 4 qbs plus buck could still toss as needed. Plus we have a converted QB-WR. Im not worried about touches. I don't get the point, though. Unless milt really is keen on a come back which I also cant imagine.
