  1. Right, but I do not neccesarily think that is what he will be asked to do going forward.
  2. Not saying neccesarily that the outcome would be dramatically different. However, ZC didn't exactly have a lot of time to get deep in the playbook or build a lot of chemistry. To me it is hard to make sweeping generalizations with that taken into account about how he may play going forward. I have no doubt he executed what he was asked to do.
  3. He made the biggest plays in the biggest games in the biggest moments
  4. We needed a QB and now we have one. Limited options. Meh
  5. I'm not in love with Nelson like the rest of you. Not a bad player, just don't see anything beyond depth as a receiver. Lacks the speed to be a kick return threat
  6. I agree that 2 years is a normal/good time frame to see if a QB is ready. You don't get a lot better not playing. So traumatized by this club sending unready prospects out there with no backup plan and the constant cycle of looking. I really hope SM just looks undeniable in the preseason, then I'm cool rolling with him as the QB2. He will see better players in preseason this year I'm sure.
  7. Even the quote is like "yeah he is a little upset". Which anybody would be in Nichols' position.
  8. People worrying about Buck not being the best speaker is funny to me. He didn't get to this point by charity
  9. I'm sure Arbuckle looks at the pass attempts he will get in that system and wants to see what else is out there.
  10. Darren Cameron @Darren_Cameron · 6m #Bombers announce multiple changes to offensive staff; Buck Pierce named OC. @CoachBurgs will move from Running Backs Coach to Receivers Coach. And the team has also added Pete Costanza to O Staff (RB’s). He spent the last 12 seasons with the Stampeders as their Receivers Coach.
  11. I like his potential. A lot, so much so that I got mocked earlier. Not sure I want him being tossed the keys yet, on paper. That is all. I hope he blows the doors off in camp.
  12. I don't really get saying "you can't always have two proven winners". Certainly not what I was implying. Saying McGuire has the same amount of experience as so and so doesn't really sway me either. You can point out the few times it has worked well, and I could show you 1000 that haven't.
