  1. Have wondered the same thing actually. Could certainly have been something like weed and the cops could smell it. People make mistakes, he is owning that mistake. We should have his back, he is paying a price most of us would not be subjected to for the same dumb mistake.
  2. One has actual terms defined in the CBA, the other probably doesn't. Also extrapolating the worst case scenario is not something the legal system does. Otherwise every assault would be attempted murder. The league set precedent with the Hughes incident. Did Ellingson miss any time at all? Bet you don't even remember his DUI. His suspension is fair from a league perspective and he is not out of the woods with the law.

  4. It would be a very big story. He made a tweet about Black Lives Matter and it made headlines.
  5. Not really sure how to respond to this.
  6. True, Day 1 is likely film review/gameplan. Still they are in the building and should be ready to go.
  7. Beyond the stupidity of his choice and the personal consequences he is facing (DUIs are certainly no joke and expensive) he let his team down. He will have to explain why he is out drinking into early Monday morning when he has practice that day. This team is big on accountability, and that is not being accountable to your team. They will bring him back in and show love, as we all should. But, MOS gets a great talking point heading into the rest of the year.
  8. I thubk he is fine. It was a blow out. No need to put him back in there. He didn't even leave the sidelines.
  9. It is expected to be one game. That is fair. He got lucky nobody got hurt. As Mike said, one decision should/does not define him. If he does it again I promise you he will get cut.
  10. Sounds like Kenny was pretty emotional yesterday, which would indicate he understands the consequences of what the outcome is and could have been. He gets a chance to grow now, and I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he will. If the team was getting possibly getting complacent (and I don't think they were) this is a good wake up call for how quickly things can change.
  11. That is the cruel world of pro sports. Nothing is guaranteed. You just opened the door for someone to seize the day.
  12. He has worked his ass off and it had him leading the league in yards. Let himself down, let his team down, lets the organization and fans down. Where his life goes from here will depend what he does next. If he has NFL plans this is a serious strike.
  13. True, but we have our own **** to deal with right now. I like that the Bombers acted quick and did all the right steps.
  14. Article said he told the team about it this morning and it sounds like he is going to seek help and is cooperating with the police. It works for me. You can make a mistake but accept the consequences and make change.
  15. I like the way Kenny and the team handled it. He isn't a write off, but **** did he let his team down.
  16. For **** sakes. Love Kenny, but you gotta sit a game for that. Unacceptable That is disappointing as ****. Actions have consequences.
  17. Speaking of which- when is Winston Rose coming back?
  18. I coild make a case for either Jef, Biggie, or BA
  19. I am not losing sleep about, nor believing that Fajardo will figure it out.
  20. I will assume he is getting/already got the J&J in the US (you can't get it here but it is approved). Otherwise he is looking at 14 days stuck in a hotel room and then 4 weeks till he can travel by air.
