If Maurice thinks Lowry can play with Ladd and Little, that is where he will play. I don't see it happening yet. If Scheifele is playingon a 70 point pace, you moght see it. Little is the 1C, you don't move him to wing without a replacement and neither Scheifele nor Lowry can replace Little in my opinion. Maybe later this year or next year though.

With the Jets? I think Ladd will but Little is another question. It looks like Maurice is trying Lowry between them and he will be the center facing the other team's top center. Ladd and Little are great wingers to help him learn the D game even more. Can he keep up with their O game though. Really good idea too if you ask me. Really grooms Lowry in the right way. Ladd siad that he thinks both sides would have liked to have it done by now but sometimes it doesn't work out that way and there has been good dialogue since the beginning. Said it is easy to put it on the backburner now that he can concentrate on hockey. Buff said he would like to remain a Jet for the rest of his career but that it is a business. He said the area has a lot of nice lakes and everything is great. Also, said it is in his favor not to be signed because he can look better with a good start. Lowry will stay between Ladd and Little only if he can keep up offense wise. Maurice is happy with his D game and said he is the guy to be facing the other team's top lines. Whether it is this year or in the future is up to Lowry. Maurice considers Lowry a key cog in this team.

Maurice says that Lowry will eventually play against the other team's top center. They have 5 that have played top 9 center. They like Perrault at wing. Who else plays wing? Burmi is the natural choice but Maurice says they will try Lowry between Ladd and Little. (So, the 4 centers would be Lowry, Scheif, Burmi and Copp?) In his interview today he said he's here to put up some good film so he can get back to the NFL. He's got the right attitude, but it's clear what his goal is. No offense here Gbill - but what do you think all the CFL players want to do? Lets see, I can get my head torn off up here for minimum wage, or I can be a backup in the NFL and make 7 to 10 x the money. It's just refreshing to hear someone admit it for once. No one, absolutely no one, grows up in the US and dreams of playing in the CFL one day, and I highly doubt many Canadian kids do either (once they read the age of understanding the power of money). When I was a Canadian kid I dreamt of playing for the Bombers. It didn't work out but CFL football is what inspired me to lift weights, train and develop athletically. I'm sure I'm not the only one. My son plays at SFU & I can tell you unequivocably & without a doubt his dream is to play in the CFL. That has been his dream ever since he started playing at age 9. He watches every CFL game & very few NFL ones. I coached football for 15 years & I don't know of any player that said to me that they wanted to go to the NFL. They all wanted to play for the Stampeders as that was the city they were growing up in. They related to the Stamps players & as a treat every once in awhile a Stampeder player would attend one of our practices & talk to my players. So, think again Kpt Krunch. Lots of kids in this country want to play in the CFL. And then when they get to a level where someone points out that if they're good enough for the CFL, maybe just maybe they're good enough for the NFL, then they want to play in the NFL. You can't start negotiations with a player under contract until he has one year or less on it left. Lots of unsigned BIG name free agents still u nsigned. I would say that Giardano's contract will influence Buff a lot. Better D (from what everyone says) for 6.75 a year and I thihnk he is a year older than Buff.

I would love to see him stay with the organizaton but not on the ice as a Jet.

I think we see Peluso and Thorbs on the 4th more often than most of us would like. Peluso wasn't signed to two years to sit every game. Thorbs and Peluso will probably play 90-100 games between tem....80/20 or something.

I would love it if they found room to sign him.

wow, Fraser on the 3rd line... like I said, shocked if he plays 10 games. sleeper is going to be Burmi making everyone forget about Fro... I didn't want to see Tlusty back. Stemp I would like to sign if the youngsters don't impress by the end of TC but highly unlikely. Struggle with their mistakes this year and it will pay off in the long run. I hope 3 rookie forwards make it.

It'd be nice to see all of Armia Petan and Ehlers competing for spots in the lineup and giving Maurice no other choice to play them. If Armia, Ehlers, Petan, Connor, Harkins, Morrissey, Copp, De Leo, Lemieux, Helle, Comrie, Phillips et al pan out, it will be a contender for a long time.

Hali is on a one year, two way deal that pays 750k. If I remember right, around 270k with the Moose which is a lot. I think he plays most of is games with the Mosse and is an emergency safety valve. Peluso plays when Maurice thinks he needs him in the lineup for the tougher games. I can't see Fraser playing 10 games to be honest, unless a LOT of injuries hit us.
