you mean you never heard of Selena Quintanilla Perez? her career was going up pretty fast but she was murdered just before her first English album was released. Her killer was denied parole earlier this year. There was a film about her life released in 1997 with J.Lo portraying her. Anyway the notice I posted about was her father, who was her manager....and sadly he hired the woman that would later kill his daughter.
