Around the League: 2019 Off Season
I dunno, having to sift through all the other teams' **** to check out the bombers stuff seems to be a chore. I guess if it gets to kooky, we can split the thread later... though that Might be a lot of work for the mods.

DOn't we normally have two threads? One for the league off season and one for the Bombers off season?

No, just behind the MEC on portage. And Saratoga Amusments was right across the street from the Capitol Theatre... my goodness, my misspent youth.

Totally Agree. It is very good- the cinematography was amazing, acting- top notch, and the writing was poignant and witty. Not for everyone, but a must for Coen Brother fans.

Why is it a waste of time? You said that the Canadians and o-line are the core and character of this team. This is true. But the character and identity of this team is shaped and moulded by the HC, you take him out and instill another HC... it will change. If you take MOS out of the equation... the character and core of this team changes. No one is "So upset" just a tad frustrated because of your usual shtick is all.

Of course things will change if you fire MOS, no matter how many times a fan says it won't. It's pretty assinine to say that the HD coach of any team doesn't affect the locker room... that is just plain silly. Seriously though... kicked your dog maybe?

Oh snap. I thought you were talking about the riders.

True this. If anyone is in the hot seat this year, I think it's Walters.

This Regime
Sure it can. "MOS' successes both in season and in the playoffs out weighed his failures." And I would totally have him back on a three year contract. He will be an elite Head Coach soon, I would hate that to happen if he was the Argos HC and not ours.

So much this. This makes me wish that we could like a post more than once.

US Politics
Wow.... Just wow... this surprised me at first... then I was like: "Nope, that makes perfect sense to me now." The surprise for me now, is that it doesn't surprise me anymore.

Damn... Thanks for that- now my office mates think I am insane, laughing too hard at that one.

I don't think it's fair to compare the ALL CAPS to the Bombers situation. They inherited a pretty decent team via draft from EVERYBODY and they are in the weaker East. If we were in the East... I think we might have won a cup by now in these last three years.

Is this it?- This Regime
See here you go again. Making an argument without context. "FTR: Calgary would have fired MOS after his second year for missing the playoffs twice if he had that same Calagry team that Dickenson inherited with a future hall of famer in BLM". - TBURGESS Yeah- I could agree with that. But no, Dickenson didn't inherit a tire-fire like MOS did, so it is silly to say that Stamps would have fired MOS after two years without any context. Context is your friend, include him. - David Suzuki
