It started with the Rangers who bought all the ex-Oilers and for the next 10 there was no salary cap so Canuck teams had no chance and then when they did bring in one it took another 5 to even things up. As for the last 10 years...well the odds are even but they outnumber us 4-1. But we're Canadians so we'll pay more for tickets and beer and TV rights and say its our game.

And with Carolina's win over Wash so ends the greatest first round of upsets in modern history which goes as far back as I can remember. Like last year.
