So obviously one of Tate or Glenn will be the QB taken for them as a starter. It will be interesting to see, if he follows through on the quote what free agent players he selects at other positions. A slightly different stance from saying he won't select any pending free agent.

 

As an aside, anyone skeptical about his ability to build a team as a winner? He struggled mightily and had the budget to acquire players as Hamilton was very active in trading and free agency at the time during his stint there.

Sceptical would be putting it mildly.

He was a disaster in Hamilton. So bad in fact I'm surprised he got another chance.

Yeah it would be a toss-up for me as to who would be a worse hire, MD or Mike Kelly. 

I seem to remember he was hard to work with in Hamilton. Didn't get along with people & stubborn.

From my experience, some gardens are hard to work with.
