HardCoreBlue Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 Looking at the Flames roster last night then ours appears that our NHL beat their AHL team?

Home and away pre season games are wild. Stars play at home with some kids sprinkled in. Kids on the road with a couple vets sprinkled in. Across the league. Edited September 29 by Goalie
HardCoreBlue Posted October 1 Report Posted October 1 Dear hockey gods, Please ensure the Minnesota Wild have a miserable season, maybe a record of 0-82. If that is not doable, missing the playoffs by a point will suffice. Thank you. Amen. Blue-urns and Noeller 2

Goalie Posted October 1 Report Posted October 1 Toews hurt in Jets loss last night. I got a bad feeling this season.

BomberBall. Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 Here’s the line rushes at today’s morning skate: Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi Nyquist-Namestnikov-Perfetti Niederreiter-Barron-Iafallo Koepke-Ford-Pearson Gustafsson/Chibrikov-Lambert-Duehr Morrissey-DeMelo Stanley-Pionk Fleury-Schenn Heinola-Miller Hellebuyck Comrie Noeller 1
Goalie Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 Second pair Stan. Not sure that’s a good pairing there. You got 2 offensive minded D.

For example ,hope our ST's improve this year, question what Nyquist will bring and unknown will Perfetti and Barron elevate their games this year?
Goalie Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 (edited) I actually like our depth more this year. Nyquist Names Perfetti should be solid until JT returns. We all know what CSV does. Koepke is a sneaky good signing and fits the age group and geographical location really (he’s an outdoors guy) JT is my big question mark tho. I’m not sure if he’s best suited for 3rd or 4th line role now. I think 2C? Nyquist Toews Perfetti is kinda slow. and second pair Stan but I will admit it’s better than pionk and fleury who absolutely got caved in when they played together last year. Perhaps If Stan can be that safe stay at home style D it could work. The nice part is we have some trade bait so should get some late picks if things go sour. Edited October 3 by Goalie
Goalie Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 I want to believe but they look way older to me. It’s a young man’s game.
iHeart Posted October 4 Author Report Posted October 4 I won't be able to start the game day thread next week due to being away from the computer
BomberBall. Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Schenn inexplicably goes to pick up his stick, allowing the Flames to get the first goal. Net front wide open. Schenn and Fleury look horrible so far. Like beer league bad. MrFreakzilla 1
BomberBall. Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 This officiating is horrendous. Incredibly one sided.
iHeart Posted October 4 Author Report Posted October 4 Perf and DeMelo got hurt..........I gotta figure out how to stay up late again
BomberBall. Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Sounds like Perfetti’s injury might not be minor. That would be a big blow. Hopefully it’s not serious…. It didn’t look too bad.
