iHeart Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 (edited) Game 1 here are the confirmed lines, and it's just to see who's ready...and now for some reason slurpees are on the menu Edited September 22 by iHeart
iHeart Posted September 21 Author Report Posted September 21 (edited) Barron opens the scoring for the Jets...by the way I'll be debuting a new meme whenever there are three players in the box Edited September 21 by iHeart
Goalie Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 There’s a real chance salomonsson sees games with the big club this year. kelownabomberfan and FrostyWinnipeg 1 1
iHeart Posted September 21 Author Report Posted September 21 well that didn't take long for OT to rear it's head
Goalie Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 (edited) 12 minutes ago, iHeart said: well that didn't take long for OT to rear it's head Doesn’t matter. No injuries to the actual Jets players is what matters. And in this game there’s maybe 5 or 6 Jets players. Fleury Miller Stan. Gus Barron Koepke Moose gonna be much improved this year tho and that was their goal actually. To give the kids (Chib lamb Yager etc) some talent to play with cuz last year was a mess. Goalie Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 I’m gonna be checking out a few moose games this year as the young daughter likes them so got a little mini pack. Plus obviously some jets games but moose pretty fun for the kids so I’m excited to see Yager chib salo lambo he Wagner in person.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 The way Schenn was off on last year i was kinda expecting 50/50 between him and Salo but Salo probably start season with Moose. Zhilkin having a heck of a start and Kevin He lock him in for 25/26. The new Tanev.
Tony Fresco Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 I presume He will be going back to Niagara. But agree, looked sharp in game 1 yesterday. Zhilkin looking ready to take a step forward with the Moose. Team has unprecedented depth this year.
Goalie Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 (edited) Josh Demelo Sammy pionk fleury miller Stanley Schenn salo heinola they will keep 7 maybe 8 d max. Salo is waiver exempt so he’s on the moose for now. so 2 more. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Schenn traded back to Nashville unless his family came here (doubt it) but if not 2 of Stanley ville (likely 1 of the 2) Schenn or miller will be waived also. Or traded. maybe 3 if they only keep 7 D. Edited September 22 by Goalie

He’s a good depth guy but can’t see him playing every game. I see Salo, Ville and miller being waived. Ville or miller will be claimed. Edited September 22 by Goalie
Tony Fresco Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 (edited) My guess is they keep 8, with only one extra forward. Salomonson goes down to the Moose, and they chance Heinola clearing waivers (which I'm 50:50 on whether he might clear - 1st round pedigree but small and injury history. If claimed, that team has to have a roster spot for him). Unless they can find a trade partner for either Stanley or Heinola. I think they value Schenn's Stanley Cup pedigree/experience, along now with Toews and Pearson. Edited September 22 by Tony Fresco
Tony Fresco Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 First round of cuts: Winnipeg Jets (per NHL.com’s Mitchell Clinton) F Jacob Cloutier (to Saginaw, OHL) D Edison Engle (to Brantford, OHL) D Ethan Frisch (released from PTO) F Kevin He (to Niagara, OHL) F Owen Martin (to Spokane, WHL) G Alex Worthington (released from PTO)
BomberBall. Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 Looks like this is the roster for tonight….. Forwards (13): Gustav Nyquist, Jonathan Toews, Mason Shaw, Parker Ford, Brayden Yager, Colby Barlow, Fabian Wagner, Jacob Julien, Tanner Pearson, Walker Duehr, Nikita Chibrikov, Cole Perfetti and Brad Lambert. Defence (8): Luke Schenn, Colin Miller, Ville Heinola, Dylan Samberg, Kale Clague, Elias Salomonsson, Ashton Sautner and Dylan Anhorn. Goalies (2): Eric Comrie and Domenic DiVincentiis Tony Fresco 1
Goalie Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 (edited) It’s official. They see lambert as a winger and not a center. Edited September 24 by Goalie FrostyWinnipeg 1
Goalie Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 JT scores on his first shot. Nah but would be cool.
Noeller Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 It's early, but I don't think Toews looks out of place at all... Certainly still has it on the dot. We'll see how many games he can play. bb1 1

iHeart Posted September 24 Author Report Posted September 24 well they scored but the other guys are leading 2-1
BomberBall. Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 I thought Barlow looked good. Was in the right places a lot last night. Goalie 1
Goalie Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 (edited) Nyquist had a few moments. Perfetti looks faster. Barlow was screaming bust last year but looks to have ability. He’s turning pro so hopefully has a strong year with the more veteran moose squad. I did read he concentrated more on D first last year and being in the right spot so maybe that’s part of it last year. Edited September 24 by Goalie BomberBall. 1
