The switchoffs between our CBs and DHBs, in zone.... have looked horrendous.  Teams are killing us on the crossing routes on both under layers (slow LBs) and over ( confused DBs)

Yes......it's like I said, we seem to to be missing the communication aspect....the communication has seemed to be poor......I think this is also amplifying guys being slower.

It's so frustrating because on defence we have been "mostly" healthy

Part our issues too i think is the constant rotating of guys...kills cohesive aspect never mind getting guys in a groove....and no wonder we seem to have a lot of communication lapses...even if guys know the position...its not the same with instinctive movement and reacting without thinking...my opinion big issue

Yes!!! that's a key I didn't think of....guys are thinking and not reacting it seems. That instinctive movement is not there and that millisecond to think is all it takes to be outta position or a step behind.....

Nope...takes a while to play off each other and know each guys tendencies...when it's constant switching up..prob at times you react to who used to be there and they not...its nice to have depth and guys that can play multiple spots...but maybe when needed for injury...or the odd diff look...but you can still do that anyway with same personel

Calgary basically changed their entire D and are the best in the league really. It’s not about communication it’s about talent. Ours has gotten old and at the same time. You're only as strong as your weakest link and we got a few links broken right now. O’Shea needs to be forced to make some moves and if not he should be fired because who plays is on him. We have had 2 byes and are 3 and 2 now and our D players look gassed. That’s on the talent and on the guy (guys) playing them. Talk about to much moving parts? Uhh really cuz our old guys lead the team in D reps. Someone has lost the plot whether that’s O’Shea or Younger, who I think might not be innocent here. It is his D scheme after all. Despite the narrative, it’s probably younger overplaying the old guys on game days. There’s this narrative O’Shea forces him to play these guys but I’m not sure that’s based on facts. The D sucking is on the coordinator also.
