In spite of the general awfulness of that game we had a chance. A small chance, very small, but a chance nonetheless. And that is why I am quite frankly astounded at the doom and gloom. Yeah it was an absolutely god awful first quarter, but the rest of the game was not any kind of lopsided affair. It was a handful of plays that went against them that were the difference in the game. It wasn't a blow out or drubbing, it wasn't a score that flattered winnipeg, it was what it was. They got behind early and never managed to overcome that. It happens, and it happens to every team. The loss sucks cause it just lets the ******** green brigade keep chirping, but win next weekend and problem solved.
