  1. And yet for two years in a row when Enstrom got hurt and we brought up Melch we started winning. Just a weird coincidence I guess. And no, I am not advocating for Melch over Enstrom. I am advocating for pretty much anyone over Enstrom.
  2. How many Enstrom family members are there? I assume that a second Enstrom relative is being held hostage with instructions "every time you are in the corner with the puck, you will surrender it to a member of the opposition, usually with another member of the opposition wide open in front. Or your cousin..."
  3. I like how you guys want to just throw away Myers and/or Trouba but want to keep the useless Enstrom, all because you are married to this RHD/LHD theory. Enstrom should go in any deal where we are trying to get up the ladder. Save the future and deal the useless players like Enstrom.
  4. I'd prefer anyone on the left side other than Enstrom. And I don't need to "validate" this to you or anyone. If you can't see what a massive liability Enstrom is out there then that's on you.
  5. Ha well we can all have our theories, as none of us actually know what happened. It's not too complicated to understand what I am saying either, and that's that I would have gladly let the Golden Knights take Enstrom if that meant keeping our pick at 13, and especially if it meant that we got a stud like Cal Foote. Now of course we can speculate that this is chicken/egg and assume that Enstrom wouldn't have waived his NMC if he didn't think he would somehow be protected, but such is life.
  6. There was a reason Bogo, Trouba and Enstrom all suddenly were "injured" and disappeared for a month back in 2014...
  7. Glad we didn't disrupt the tank by accidentally scoring in the OT period. That second goal was a classic example of why I want Enstrom off this team. Silfverberg just skates up to Enstrom and takes the puck off of his stick like he's taking candy from a baby. Not acceptable.
  8. Yes, I remember we had three defencemen all "injured" at the same time. Hopefully, those injuries are a thing of the past now. The only off-season move I would have made was to trade Enstrom. Anywhere. If the issue is we need a LHD then go get one to replace Enstrom. Other than that, yes, this season will probably be another early exit from the playoffs, but I haven't been this excited about a new crop of rookies coming up since 1992.
  9. I don't get the love for Enstrom. I really don't. Last night on the 4th goal he was just lost in space, as Kesler sat in the slot waiting for the puck. I'd have nailed that guy's ass to the bench for the last five minutes. He looks like a boy among men out there. Perry, Getzlaf and Maroon just brush him off like a fly when he's trying to get the puck off their sticks. He'd be the first guy gone if I was Chevy. Morrissey can take his place. Trade Enstrom to Chicago for Brian Bickell and a draft pick. Or to whoever will take him. Buff can go too. He's just too slow to play D.
  10. Enstrom will end up on a moose all right, somewhere in the middle of Northern Sweden...
  11. I think you meant Enstrom. EDIT - saw you fixed it - sorry.
  12. Man I would have loved to have been a witness at an arbitration hearing for Toby Enstrom.
  13. not sure what's the obsession with moving Myers. I get it that we have to lose a few guys for cap reasons, and Enstrom is definitely one of those we lose. Not sure who else? Buff/Little/Wheeler one day will have to go too.
  14. Pretty simple - Enstrom comes out, Kuli goes in. This is not rocket science.
  15. No Enstrom = big advantage for us. If we get through this series I would like to see Toby firmly cemented to the press box for the rest of the playoffs.
  16. I hope Perreault makes it through at least one game in this series. It seems that whenever the going gets rough, Perreault gets going, to sick bay. Followed pretty quickly by Enstrom.
  17. Niku looked every bit a rookie out there, but he got saddled with Buff as his D partner and I wouldn't wish that on any rookie. I would rather he have a full season under his belt before being thrown into a playoff game. As for Enstrom, I think everyone here knows how I feel.
  18. I am a big "no" on Plekanec. He plays so soft he makes Enstrom look like Shea Weber.
  19. I love it when people tell me what my opinions are. So awesome. I'm not a fan of Enstrom because he coughs up the puck so easily. He's a weak player. As for me "crapping" on Stanley, thanks for reacting, I honestly didn't know my opinion was so valuable that it's causing discussion on here. I have only watched him play once live - in Penticton - and he was awful. That was awhile ago. I caught a Kitchener game on Sportsnet a few months ago and he didn't look nearly as bad. Mostly I am slagging Stanley because I know it causes certain posters here to go ape-poop. Reality is - I saw Tyler Myers when he was a rookie with the Rockets. He looked like Bambi on ice out there. But he grew into his body. I think Stanley can do the same. I hope when he's 24 he's a total stud.
  20. I didn't say that they are better without Enstrom and Buff, I just said that they were much better than Edmonton's D. Watching our guys walk around their D consistently was amazing to watch. We should have won that game 10 - 0. Can't believe Armia missed the net on that feed from Lowry, and that Ehlers rush should have resulted in a goal too.
  21. I felt it was both unjust and overly dramatic. Anyway, I don't have an insatiable hatred for Enstrom.
  22. I was unjustly accused of having an "insatiable hatred" of Enstrom by another poster in a different thread. I never want to see anyone hurt and get no joy from seeing Toby leave the line-up due to injury. If this injury is a serious knee injury, you'd have to wonder how many knee injuries Toby can sustain and keep his NHL career going. So is Poolman the next one up? What about the Melch?
