Makonzo can’t seem to shake the injury bug. Unfortunate situation for a talented player when healthy but unfortunately hasn’t been healthy for all of last season and perhaps 1/3 or more of this one. perhaps Balls stock is rising.

Don’t want to get ahead of myself here although I don’t think random fan who has been to 20 games since they returned is relevant but (that’s me) they kind of got that LA Kings first cup win vibe going. Like believe LA was down 3 1 in a couple series when they won it all. Throw in the Fetts goal in game 7 with 2 seconds left and it’s almost got that jets just refuse to lose 4 vibe. 3 sure? 4? Nope.

Fans chanting “should have kicked it” after disallowed goal is pretty classic Winnipeg hockey chant.

I like all the weird quirks that make the cfl different than the nfl. keep those weird quirks.

Said it before but if they play like that next game it’s coming back to Winnipeg. That funny feeling has kinda returned. I’m not sure why. Prob cuz when jets win a game they dominate and it seems like they don’t wanna go home yet.

There’s 4. this game feels eerily similar to game 2. Another “must win” for the Jets. Jets show heart and dominate Dallas and win 4 0. These guys have grown. I’m not sure they win this game 5 years ago. Adversity is a theme this season.

If I’m being honest this playoffs has kind of jaded me as a jets fan. I think round 1 was a good hard tough series, but I think there were 2 different rule books being used in that series also. Maybe the reffing is not gonna be a major factor, game 3 in Dallas, it’s ******* rigged. It’s rigged bullshit. Game 4. In reality our power play and taking just dumb penalties they don’t call on Dallas but penalties none the less and inability to score goals, jets are done. Had a good year. Hell. Like I said. We get a banner at the rink game 1 next year, that’s cool. Won a round. But honestly game 3 we got ****** and you knew at that point. That’s it. Maybe they win at home. It’s likely. But they not winning in Dallas. No way. Winnipeg Edmonton would guarantee a cdn team in the final, that’s not gonna happen and you wait and see, Edmonton will get screwed also cuz Dallas vs Carolina and the Rantanen story or Dallas vs defending champs Florida is a better draw in the USA.

There’s a few factors but normally you can’t win if you expect the goalie to get shutouts to win. 5 goals scored in 4 games isn’t good enough. For the record “you” is a general term I’m using to describe most comments from ppl I see online, it’s not anyone in particular, I suppose it’s prob more the bandwagon fans, the eye rollers who want to trade the goalie. Except 9 goals in 5 games isn’t gonna get the job done. Oettinger let in the softest goal last night. Powerplay goals shouldn’t be going in? Taking dumb penalties that lead to goals is on the goalie now? Jets scored 4 goals in 1 game. That means 5 in the other 4. You ARE expecting shutouts to win. That’s impossible. 5 goals in 4 games and ppl blaming the tender. Man. Honestly. What can he do. Our only win this series is a shutout.
