I actually think Chevy is the type of GM that would make a hockey trade. I think lots of teams would prefer having guys with an extra year or so on their contracts. Rentals are great and all but i would never give up a 1st for a guy who will be gone in the Summer.

Westerman probably goes to Montreal because they will give him the most money. Heath could end up there also but... Seems like Montreal might be a bit blacklisted in terms of who will sign there but... Overpay significantly and players will. I see Kavis overpaying guys to come.

But you watch on TV lots and post on here so that's good enough. I was honestly just curious if you followed other teams cuz King Henrik has been one of the best goalies in the league for years. Just cuz someone has season tix doesnt mean they are a better fan btw.

Hes not a rental. That extra year matters. Most teams dont like giving up packages for pure rentals. Brassards value is higher because he would be around next season and 5 million is actually pretty reasonable. . Personally id prefer Zuccarello tho.
