Mitchell was a mistake from day 1 ...yet we kept him around ...for why???? Bud Grant who was a very successful coach, said about the wind...'you take it from the get go if you have that option....His theory was that the wind is very unpredictable, and you take it when it's blowing at the beginning of a game...He thought the wind could switch around or quit altogether thus losing your advantage....Knowing the unpredictability of mother nature I could see his take and it worked for him
