  1. I think apologizing for missing 4 field goals & a convert was unnecessary as Liram didn't mean to do it. He shouldn't have run off the way he did after the game as that was wrong. He has to learn how to face adversity & deal with it when it happens. Not 3 days later. Hopefully lesson learned.

He didn't run off -- the team made him unavailable to the media to shelter him.

I heard that he ran off.
    That's what I heard too.
  2. Denmark for chad owens (straight up or with something give or take to make it fair trade)

Wild for Chick? (Same as above)

My thinking is owens isnt having his best year, nor is denmark, but both can be explosive as well as owens improving our return game imo.

Love wild as I do denmark but we are pretty deep at lb and need a rush end opposite to westerman.

    thoughts?

Interesting thought but no. I see Denmark and Wild as long-term Bombers. If anything I want to lock them up.

    Both are locked up.

Excellent. I knew Denmark was but was unsure about Wild.
Wild is here for 2 years after this season.

  4. WINNIPEG, MB., October 6, 2015 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the additions of defensive lineman Jamarkus McFarland, receiver Desmond Lawrence, running back/returner Jeff Scott, defensive lineman Roy Philon, and defensive lineman Leon Mackey. All players are Internationals.

McFarland (6’2, 305, Oklahoma, November 26, 1990 in Lufkin, TX) played four years with the Sooners, where he suited up for 47 games — starting 22. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft, McFarland signed with the Chargers, where spent training camp. In May 2015 he came to the CFL, signing with the Lions. He’s played in one game for B.C. this season and he registered two tackles.

Lawrence (5’10, 181, North Carolina A&T, December 19, 1991 in Durham, N.C.) caught 79 balls over two seasons with the Aggies, totalling 789 yards and five touchdowns. During that span he added three more touchdowns on the ground, and also spent time returning kickoffs, averaging 27 yards per return. He also excelled in Track & Field, holding the school record for the 100 meter with a time of 10.24 seconds. Lawrence spent time in the NFL with the Lions and Bengals earlier in 2015.

Scott (5’7, 167, Ole Miss, January 26, 1991 in Miami, Fla.) ranks fourth all-time for the Rebels in all-purpose yards with 3,668. His 2,297 career rushing yards are good for sixth all-time at the school, and his 20 touchdowns are 10th best. In 2013, Scott was on the watch list for the Paul Hornung Award, which is given to the most versatile player in college football. After his final year in 2014, he was selected to play in the College All-Star Bowl.

Philon (6’3, 291, Louisville, March 26, 1991 in Lexington, KY) played four years with the Cardinals, the best of which came in his senior year when he notched 41 tackles, 12 for a loss, and four sacks. That year he was a part of the #1 Total Defence in college football. After going undrafted, Philon spent time on the practice roster with the Steelers, Bears, and most recently Lions.

Mackey (6’5, 260, Texas Tech, February 28, 1989 in Wilmington, DE) was an All Big-12 honourable mention after his senior year in 2012. In 2014, Mackey spent time with the Arizona Rattlers in the AFL. That post-season, Mackey contributed three sacks en-route to a league title. His AFL performance earned him an NFL training camp invite the following year with the Vikings.

  5. Looks like more tickets have been sold on ticketmaster. Whether many of those have been significantly discounted is anyone's guess although that could be one the reasons for Wade Miller's proclamation of expected profits in the range of $3 - $5 million. $2 million is a significant disparity and might be attributed to the possible discounting on a large number of tickets.

Regardless, it appears there are only around 2,000 tickets available for the Grey Cup so progress appears to have been made.

The hold back lots of tickets until the current block is sold. Guarantee there's more than 2,000 left. Much more.

Could very well be but there are less blue tickets (available seats) on ticketmaster than less than a week ago. I doubt they would deliberately hold back more and more tickets week after week. Some of those tickets have been sold in the past 5 or so days.

We will see blocks of tickets become available in the coming weeks not doubt, but I'm not sure it will be to the extent you believe.

I'll believe ticket master over a poster on the site any day.
It's common knowledge that Ticketmaster holds back tickets. But you're free to believe whatever you like.

  7. Even if they make the playoffs, they won't make any noise there.............lose out and get 1st draft pick and clean house at the end of the season....one of the most pathetic seasons I have seen from the BB organization....maybe they should fire MOS and make MB the head coach???????????????

We don't have our first rounder because of Waggoner pick.
