  1. We don't have a million in cap space and if you don't like the question then don't answer or respond. It's a legit question that Walters may need to consider. None of us know the Bombers true cap situation.Have the Bombers hired you to audit their books? But it's really not a legit question, hence the point that I made. It's a hypothetical question, and a silly, nonsensical one at that. Then leave the thread and stop posting if it bothers you that much. Believe it or not sport, just because someone disagrees with a point (and a stretched one at that) you're trying to make, doesn't mean they should not post calling you out on it.Welcome to a fan forum, where if you make silly comments, chances are you're going to get called on it. It ain't a silly question just cuz you said so. I think it's a good one and so do others in here. And it could be a real decision Walters has to consider. Sorry you can't see that, but like you say it's a fan forum and not everyone sees things the same way.
  2. Signing both could cost close to half a million dollars, it's a big chunk of change.

  4. Sure it's a hypothetical question that could be legit depending on our salary cap situation. An option of both is no fun as everyone would choose that option

None of us know the Bombers true cap situation. If none of us know the true cap situation, why are you writing about it factually in the first sentence of this post? Easy Mike. Lets not let facts get in the way of a pointless debate There's a floor as part of the salary cap. It ain't $1 million below the cap.
  6. Nichols has played more than one CFL game.
  7. @CurtisGRush: "After seeing the video of my sideline bump of Dave Stala during Friday’s game, I have spoken with Dave and apologized:" Kent Austin #CFL

  9. If Wpg. shows Nichols some love, I'd bet he'd be happy to re-sign here. He has to look at his realistic chances of landing a starting position in the CFL and appreciate that there aren't many opportunities out there for a QB with his record and injury history. Honestly can't see any team investing in him as their number one at this point. What's Burris' status for 2016? If he shows well for us this month OTT will show him the money.Burris is under contract with Ottawa for 2016. He signed a 3 year deal.
  10. If you could only sign one guy, who would it be? I'd love to have Henoc back in a Bomber uniform, but teams NEED two quality QBs if they want to contend and become legit playoff/Grey Cup contenders (look at Calgary's model). In my opinion, Henoc would be a luxury, but Nichols is a need. If I had $225k and could only sign one of Nichols or Henoc, I'd give the money to Nichols. We'd probably be 5-6 or even 6-5 right now if we had Nichols right when Willy went down. Henoc is a luxury, but Nichols is a difference maker.
  11. Burris is still under contract with the Redblscks next season. His initial contract with them was for 3 years.
  12. How about they offer Nichols a "Kevin Glenn" type contract, with a low base but incentives for starting. I don't think Glenn has ever come out of a season on the short end payment wise and with the Bombers poor history of QB protection, Nichols may end up starting half the games. Good idea.
  13. ATTN Kyle Walters: sign Nichols to an extension ASAP. Give him low starting QB money, like $200k per season if that's what it takes.
  14. How do you know Walters didn't offer that, or more? Your criticism of Walters here is ridiculous. 10-18 in the past season and a half. I feel justified in saying Walters should have made the best offer. My point is Walters didn't know the best offer when he made his. It's called a bidding war. Walters will increase his bid if Henoc is interested in coming back to Winnipeg.

  16. The Eskimo fan message board. Weird vibes. Can you describe these "weird vibes"? One of Henry's many mistresses.
  17. Agreed. We have to do everything in our power and then some to bring him back.Do you guys not understand how bidding works?

  19. How's Walters supposed to know the highest bid? Bombers could have offered $250k per season. Maybe Ottawa offered $260k.
  20. @HenocMuamba: At this point @garrylawless knows my schedule better myself apparently.
  21. @PaulWiecek: I'm starting a rumour that Henoc Muamba will be the next GM and head coach of the Riders if they offer him enough money. Ready....GO! @HenocMuamba: Now this got me laughing Paul! I wouldn't be against it though. #nowthatsnewstome
  22. @PentonKirk: #Bombers have put in an offer, but source says it's not the best offer. At least not yet. #CFL
  23. @garylawless: Sources around #cfl saying Muamba will visit three teams in next couple of days. Hamilton and Toronto confirmed.
  24. Well, he's ineligible for rookie of the year so no worries there. Why is he ineligible?
