Yup agree can't please everbody but standing pat with what we have has its advantages (and disadvantages obviously) as well.

Still doesn't mean a fan can't like it who was in the camp of stay with what we have based on what was available. Nothing against ZC, I understand the for insurance mentality, I hope he does well here and not take another serious concussion wearing our uniform but I'm not convinced more 'veteran leadership' is needed on this team. We have MN and BP on the sidelines to help with that aspect at the QB position. If CS continues to falter I'd rather give SM a look and some important CFL playing experience. Hey if ZC comes in here and lights it up or even plays adequate, great I'll cheer him along because he's wearing the right color but a big meh to this deal.

Looking at these highlights and not being a Goalie expert but shows what happens when you don't get the expected saves you need from your goaltender i.e., Matt Murray, I'll take it.

I just don't want having ZC taking his final hit dressed in a BB uniform that officially takes him out of the game. It just feels that he needs to let go.

You just get the sense that ZC's playing career is over with his concussion and injury history. To me it makes no sense to trade for him. I wouldn't want to take that baggage on. I would hope for his long term health ZC will be the next Buck Pierce and move into QB coaching sooner than later.
