Game 24 : The Return of Paul Maurice
HardCoreBlue replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Obviously strong goaltending usually gets the nod for MVP, but if I had to chose KC is my choice. Wow. He can score, play make and defend. My guess is the scouting report on Helle is to go high glove side. The trick is accomplishing that though. Not much room for error. And how does one get a job at being the guy in the penalty box sitting alongside the penalized player (s)? What a sweet job and the ongoing convo's they must hear, priceless. I'd probably forget that I have a job to do. -
And I would add FIFO does not equate with another term a lot of people misuse here, echo chamber. In this scenario FIFO does not mean a bunch of radical lefties, libtards, sheep etc etc musing with one another, FIFO means sane people need only apply. And just to qualify my use of the terms sane and insane, not all people who subscribe to insane drivel are insane but it sure doesn't help with how you're perceived by others, just an unsolicited piece of feedback on my part.

I agree with it being deceptive at times however there is some merit now and then to the 'throw it at the net you never know what can happen' philosophy. -
Spews drivel and absurdities with condensing tone and words then complains people are mean and unwilling to listen to other viewpoints. 1+1= Orange no matter what you believe lefties. No it equals 2, check the sanity. Sane people from differing backgrounds, viewpoints are tired of this lunacy. pftttt echo chamber sheep, I’m trying to have a civil discussion with you all and this is the welcome I get with looking at it from another side. Wow.

Just to be full on cynical and probably too critical here, allowing weaselberger to take the blame and say Trump and his family members knew nothing of his doings is weak on the prosecutors part. If AW wasn’t willing to state the full truth then no deal than make him pay for not fully cooperating. I know bigger picture here but no less maddening.

The cold hard facts of professional dollar driven sports. -
Well said. For some, sound science and valid reliable research means leftists in an echo chamber being bamboozled by the 'government' and 'High Tech". Sound science and valid reliable research could care less about political ideologies and capitalist motives. There's been a few times sound science and valid reliable research have told me something I didn't like but it didn't matter what I thought.

Yup I feel for these people and proud of their courage to do that but these ghouls don’t give a **** nor care being snubbed. They are lifeless creatures driven by the almighty dollar, power and status that have rationalized in their minds they are good people trying to help Americans. Delusional, narcissistic creatures.

Is MG waiting for this committee to do the work for him? Like wtf he should have been way ahead of this.

From Bloomberg: Justice Samuel Alito made a quip about Black children wearing Ku Klux Klan outfits at the US Supreme Court Monday. During arguments about a website designer who refuses to create wedding sites for same-sex unions, Alito asked a lawyer whether a Black Santa Claus hypothetically could be forced to have a photo taken with a child in a Ku Klux Klan outfit. The query was a follow-up to an earlier line of questions from Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Colorado Solicitor General Eric Olson said the Santa could refuse because people wearing KKK outfits aren’t covered under anti-discrimination laws, which are geared toward race, sexual orientation and other protected characteristics. Justice Elena Kagan added that “presumably that would be the same Ku Klux Klan outfit regardless whether the child was Black or White or any other characteristic.” Alito then interjected: “Yeah, you do see a lot of Black children in Ku Klux Klan outfits, right? All the time.” The comments drew a smattering of laughter from around the courtroom, as Alito tried to continue his questioning. “Suppose that, I mean, uh --” he stammered, before uttering an uncomfortable chuckle of his own. Justice Amy Coney Barrett smiled and looked down while other justices shifted in their seats. After a pause, Kagan offered to jump into the void and ask her own questions of Olson. “Can I -- is that all right?” she asked Alito, who sits next to her on the bench. “Sure,” Alito responded. Some of these Justice's level of self-importance and arrogance is suffocating.

This also reminds me of a story I read during the height of the pandemic of a American nurse who was treating someone of this ilk for an unrelated condition. While this person was going off on this vaccine and not wanting to live in fear and it's all a ruse, she was pumping him full of 5 or 6 substances without a whisper from him of what was in these substances and what it's level of effectiveness was.

The people that frustrate and annoy me the most aren't the people who are upfront in supporting his insane nonsensical drivel. It's the posers, the one's who acknowledge his complete unsuitability but rationalize their support for him. They're nothing but posers, pretenders who really are who he is just a bit more polished around the edges.

That's their platform plain and simple following Trump and his enablers to a tee.

Trouble in paradise. Paying potentially 12 million dollars a year for his leadership cause it sure aint his offensive production. They can have it.

We went 15-3 and lost in the Grey Cup by one point. That sounds a whole lot better now than it did a few weeks ago in November.

As she tests the water with her kooky cockamamie knuckle dragging drivel and pulls it back by saying more clarity is needed, just another reminder to DS you were not ‘duly elected’ to sit in the premier chair of Alberta nor has any legitimate percentage of Albertans given you or will give you any trust to do anything. Go. Away.

That’s the difference between good and great and it’s called consistency.

At the same time complaining of the lack and access to infrastructure, heathcare and social services when I or my inner circle needs them!

I’m progressive from an ideological point of view not a doing point of view.

Said every sane conservative leaning person who understands the actual reality we all presently find ourselves in.

Duron Carter released from the worst team in the CFL. From irritating pizzaz to obscure fizzle. -
It just seems like hockey there is background noise so tourists and the occasional local can have a good time under one roof. The one actual fan legitimately wearing his team's jersey is telling people to be quiet with their party conversations, he's trying to watch a hockey game.
