Well I see they have a splash page up indicating that they are moving the forum servers...seems like a long time to me...but I guess it isn't exactly mission critical data or a revenue stream for them...

TotalCFL was awesome, the guy from BC that ran it - Brad, Argonut, "Pro-Reinbold" aka Colin, East Side Wally...I could go on...great place - easy to load on dial-up - kinda went downhill fast when Myk the Aussie dude showed up and filled the site with unintelligible videos of him shouting...Ourbombers was great in it's time too - but like all things they fade..

And that is what makes it the most fun and sometimes the most frustrating to watch...great team with "bad" QB...bad team with a "great" QB...so many permutations and outcomes that are unpredictable...a team sport dictated by individual performances or individual performances working as a team?? I love the game even with all the warts and challenges (like guys getting their brains injured) - that's another topic though.

Yah...great fan who likes to crunch numbers and can write some great articles...no real inside info apart from his connection with the 3rd down nation folks...his podcast is pretty good and he gets some interesting guests. Pretty neat to see how he has been able to get some exposure all starting with his "Firejoemack" twitter handle years ago. Went to school in Brandon and is a teacher - comes from a super nice family...There you go...

Anywhere but the endzones are very good seats...i just don't like view from there - hard to tell how many yards they gained when going away from you, especially if you are lower down in the seats. End zones are OK in super large stadiums where there is an upper deck but that isn't the case at IGF If you are one of those people who just like to be there and don't really watch the game with some intensity I suppose they are OK too...

I guess I will hang out here for a bit then...seems like a nice enough place...
