Deservedly so. Why can't it be both? -
Apparently this guy is a budding scientist as well as a kicker and would mean that Lirim is not about to show up in Winnipeg.

What I find infuriating about this sort of thing (antivaxxers getting sick) is that they hoover up resources that those who have taken appropriate measures and gotten sick need as well as diverting resources from others who are critically ill from non-COVID sufferers. In the US private healthcare system, the massive costs of treating critically ill anti-vaxxers will drive up the premiums for all- even those who are not responsible for pandemic. Here in Canada, these idiots will inevitably affect our healthcare system costs as well, but these will be reflected in increased taxes.

Conservative radio host who called himself "Mr. Anti-Vax" dies of COVID-19 Yet another right-wing radio host who spent months railing against public health and vaccination efforts succumbed to COVID-19 this weekend after a protracted battle with the virus. Marc Bernier, who called himself "Mr. Anti-Vax" at one point, died Saturday night after spending three weeks in the hospital. The news was announced by Florida's WNDB-AM/FM on Facebook. He was 65. Consistent until the end, Bernier's last tweet compared vaccination outreach efforts to Nazi Germany. Conservative radio host who called himself "Mr. Anti-Vax" dies of COVID-19 | Salon.com

This could be a bellweather game. If the Blue give the Stumps a beatdown, it will bode well for the rest of the season. If they turn in another putrid performance, that would be a very bad omen. -
It may have been a confluence that may not be easy to repeat- Harris having a career year, the arrival of Collaros and the defence coming together at exactly the right time.

Shouldn't Lucky be referred to as (D)redhead?

If Ivermectin is really effective about eradicating parasites, one would think that most of the GOP would be rightfully afraid of taking it.

To me, it looks like a LaPolice offence that a non-LaPolice person is trying to implement. As a rookie OC, Pierce may be reluctant to try non-LaPolice stuff, because, a) he is a rookie. and b) that offence won a Grey Cup and c) maybe O'Shea is directing him. In any case, he will never be as good as LaPolice at being LaPolice and maybe its time for him to start introducing his own wrinkles because one of the knocks on LaPolice was the predictability of the Bomber offence.

Pastor Fired for Promoting COVID Vaccine on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ -MSNBC An evangelical pastor and senior VP for a non-profit called National Religious Broadcasters was fired on Friday for promoting COVID vaccines on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. When Daniel Darling appeared on the show on Aug. 2, he said his faith motivated him to get vaccinated. “I believe in this vaccine because I don’t want to see anyone else die of COVID,” he said. “Our family has lost too many close friends and relatives to COVID, including an uncle, a beloved church member and our piano teacher.” But National Religious Broadcasters, a 1,100-member organization of Christian communicators, told Darling his statements violated their policy of remaining neutral about COVID vaccines, Religion News Service reports. He was told he could sign a statement admitting he had been insubordinate, and admit that his pro-vaccine statements were wrong, or be fired. He chose the latter.
