  1. I think the whole team has lost confidence in both Jones and themselves as a team. Why bust your ass if there's no chance of winning?
  2. Jones is a dead man walking.
  3. Obviously deserves a contract extension. Ooooh.....that TD ought to save Jones' bacon.
  4. Doege must feel like someone who was rushed in at the last hour to skipper the Titanic. It is a psychological phenomena called "displacement". Hmmmm...chuck and duck does work once in awhile.
  5. Worse, IMO....sad for such a once-proud team. And its all on jones and the people who hired him.
  6. This is beginning to resemble a rout and may be Jones' last game as a CFL coach.
  7. At least this beginning to resemble a game.
  8. Ilks receivers no hell, either. Hope this game is not televised in the US.
  9. We may be looking at a hockey score in this game.
  10. Schiltz has thrown a couple of nice passes.
  11. Rumour has it that he gets paid by the word.
  12. TiCats win. Ilks tie futility record. That's a rather unimpressive receiving corps for the TiCats.
  13. Not this week and not with this QB.
  14. I was 40 when cancer took my dad and I really struggled until I went for help. In retrospect, it had some positive outcomes because when the light of my life, my wife and soulmate, died at age 49, it left me to grieve and to help my teenage daughter and 20 year old son through it. I wish I could say I breezed through it, but I did not. The awareness and processes I learned in order to cope with my dad's death helped a lot, but these were the darkest days of my life. A friend who is a doctor wrote a prescription to help me sleep as I was barely getting 3-4 hours per night, but I was scared to fill the prescription as there were moments when I was so overwhelmed with the pain and emptiness that I might have been tempted to take them all at once. On top of that, I had to pretend I was OK so that the kids wouldn't have to fear losing me too. And go to work.
  15. More baloney than not. Many smaller places like Taiwan and Finland have healthy competitive manufacturing industries.
  16. Actor promotes Trump’s movie screening by pushing QAnon's bizarre infant blood-drinking theory Actor Jim Caviezel pushed a QAnon conspiracy theory that liberals drink the blood of infants ahead of a film screening with former President Donald Trump. On Thursday, Caviezel told conservative podcast host Steve Bannon he had a message for Trump about the screening of "Sound of Freedom," a QAnon-linked movie scheduled to be screened at the former president's Bedminster golf club on July 19. The film suggests global elites are involved in a massive sex-traffic conspiracy. "I also want to say to Donald Trump, then when you watch this movie, you will be at peace and at rest because you, more than anyone, have done incredible things Jesus talks about, that you know faith without works is dead," Caviezel said before comparing Trump to the biblical figure David.
  17. On the side of the highway near Moosomin:
  18. Well he could always could have gone back to crooning in Vegas.
  19. Did he wake up in a bath tub filled with ice and pain in his lumbar region?
  20. If history teaches us anything, it is that we do not learn from history.
  21. After publicly boycotting Bud Light, Kid Rock is quietly serving the beer at his Nashville bar After publicly boycotting Bud Light, musician Kid Rock has started to quietly sell the brand again at his Nashville bar, according to a new report by CNN. Rock, along with conservative politicians like Dan Crenshaw and Ted Cruz, became a local critic of Anheuser-Busch — Bud Light's parent company — after the brand partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney on an isolated social media campaign in April. "F**k Bud Light, f**k Anheuser-Busch," Rock said in a viral video before shooting a semi-automatic weapon at cases of the beer. However, at Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock 'n' Roll Steakhouse, where "CNN This Morning's" Ryan Young recently visited, Bud Light was available for purchase. "It is not clear if the ban had been lifted or if there ever had been one to begin with," Young said. This is another example of conservative politicians walking back on bombastic public boycotts, a memorable recent example being when former president Donald Trump called for a boycott against Coca-Cola — and was seen weeks later with a Diet Coke on his desk in the Oval Office.
  22. Karamoko and Machino sound like Starbucks' orders.
  23. The MAGA/GOP crowd do not need proof. All they need is anyone with even a tenuous connection to a target to be coaxed to say something inflammatory with no collaborating evidence that can be trotted out. If, as inevitably happens, it turns out to be false, they can deny culpability and blame it on someone else. It all comes down to the Nazi technique that if you repeat a lie loud enough and often enough, it will be seen as the truth by the gullible.
