Was nice to see Zach looking more like his old self. The throw he made on the play he got injured was great. Stepped out of a sack and launched to where Lawler had a chance at it. The int wasn’t horrible either. Wilson needs to be stronger to the ball. Same thing happened with Lawler last week. Hopefully he’s good to go next week but we could win the banjo bowl without Zach. I don’t think Strev looked as bad as people are saying. Made quick decisions to get the out. Didn’t attack down field but they mostly were running the ball playing with the lead.

Don’t get at all why Johnson is still on the roster. Hasn’t shown a damn thing all season.

Biggest difference now is that the 7th OL has to be American. Harder to make the roster work that way.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Vanterpool doesn't come on at all. If Big Stan is A-OK then maybe they just role with 6 Olinemen. Ya if the coaches wanted him to give up the point then they would have told him too. I saw on Twitter Lucky said he would have conceded the point of the coaches directed him to. No one would have questioned the decision to take it out if he made a big play. The O was going no where so you gotta take chances to swing a big play when you can. Lucky wasn't fielding punts in the air as much last game which to me is when the bigger concern than not breaking the big one. Gotta get those in the air and try and draw no yards. The battle for several drives was because the offense couldn't get a first down. I doubt the coaches said "don't give up the point" but they didn't say "give up the point".

That makes sense to me. Hopefully Bryant is just fully recovered and good to go. If we need someone else to come in an be another TE, my vote is Devin Adams. Guy is a beast. Doesn't need to be a Cdn since they take out an American receiver usually when they run that set.

Just watched the game last night. Offense was rolling pretty good until all the injuries. Losing the ability to run the extra protection sets really slowed the O down. How many games have we had this year with multiple injuries at one position in a game? I can think of a few with receivers, DBs, D-Line, O-Line. In addition to the Randolph understandably having a tough game a LT, Kolo was getting bowled into Zach over and over again.

For sure. The play where he just posts up in the middle at 7 or 8 yards is pretty deadly. He's a big guy for a DB or LB to get around to make a play to the ball.

I figure the O is due to have a game where it all comes together soon. They were close in BC, maybe this is the week.

Not coach Lapo but I was watching the BC game on youtube because I missed it in Sunday and noticed that the opener from 2003 full game was on there. Worth a watch if you want to relive the early 2000s. That was the year they added Mo Kelly and Terry Ray on D. Also saw that the 2003 play off game against Sask was on there. Maybe skip that one.

I think Rouke will be a good QB (especially with the state of QBing in the CFL) but it remains to be seen whether he can be elite. He had a real hot 9 games in 2022. That's it

Nobody had said he should start. We’re talking roster spots only. if you bring Murphy on as the backup receiver, then you can take Johnson off the roster and start Lucky and Lawler. Keep Adams on and take one of the CDN d-linemen off
