Ollie had a bad season but has picked up his game. I would sign him short term for the right price. Kane is gone this off season IMO.

Difference between the pros and the shmoes. The team is on the right track, they will look totally different in 3 years and compete with anyone.

Pav does need to and will get better but he is good. He is still young, to think the Jets are a playoff team is stretch, a leap actually. They do not have the depth and even their starting healthy line up is a 4 and out team even if they would stay healthy for 82 and squeak in. The team is not good enough yet, undersized and under skilled. They have cut a lot of dead weight and have more to go, half way there imo. Couple more seasons. As far as what a person makes I really could not care less, I do not sign the checks. The game has changed for the Jets this year, they need to be tougher on the back end. They would get killed in playoff hockey.

Ok you win. The Jets blue line minus Bogo is a force out there. The Jets are a big heavy team that dictates the play each and every night. It's just the way it is.

The Kings are the real deal. A good measuring stick to see where we really are. Pardy and Ellerby dump the puck out in desperation, right back to them. That is what happens when you are so out classed, so it is rush after rush. Buff played forward iirc. Even if the Jets were to make the playoffs the real NHL teams would eat them in 4. Every time Toby was on I would have my 230 pound winger against him and play dump and destroy all night long. By game 3 it would be a bloodbath. The big men are getting geared up for playoff hockey and it showed last night.

Players will make mistakes, 33 and 8 are NHL players one will always make mistakes but his play is worth it. The other is a rookie playing very good hockey over a real long season. A little different from AHLers and someone who carries a big stick but still plays softly.....

Switch goalies in the first and Pav has a shutout period, Quick probably not. Not when the AHL and undersized NHL D. is getting pushed back right on top of you. Smurfs are cute and funny but make poor NHL D-men.

Bogo is good, the injuries are starting to be an issue IMO.

The team has been in the game better since the coaching change. How has Montoya and the Jets done since he was in the number one spot? The Jets roster has no depth and even the number 1 line up is a 500 team at best. Those numbers don't lie. As the team improves so with Pav's numbers. Give it time.

Pav is a good goalie. Upgrade the dozen or so AHL players in front of him and he will do fine.

Mike Bossy and Potvin would put this team over the hump.
