  1. Yup like the addition of the extra dline guy again...hope to see an expanded role for McRae too...be interesting matchup for sure
  2. maybe he is the QB wrecker...Masoli too is looking like he is regressing now...be interesting to see what he does this weekend....I think the SSK db's are very suspect, so they should be able to pick em apart on the intermediate to medium range throws..short and underneath is not a good gameplan if the SSK linebackers are in a groove....and thats Lapo bread and butter and sure that SSK has planned for that all week....break the mold and u will exploit them
  3. thats Osh's one fault in my opinion...almost too much loyalty to guys based on fact they been here a while, and feels like he owes it to them or something...when we were running sets out there with Briggs and Gauthier together, and solo....we were noticeably weaker...and teams targeted it...It's nice to reward guys and be loyal....but it's also a business of winning, and continually getting better....and at times it seems we miss the boat on that and rather do the status quo. I forgot about Mauro and actually like his game and what I have seen of him...athletic and motor never quits, and even though he is technically a "global" he has the same college and amateur developing as most imports....so his learning curve is more on par with them...and he's not a rook...so should have grasp of the system and it's responsibilities now and can react as opposed to think
  4. decieving numbers on the long tho, as I can clearly recall Nichols trying to hit him and missing badly....it wasnt a case of Lucky being open, or dropping the ball, or losing contested battles...they were flat out misses, go back and watch the games...plain as day
  5. Yeah...media and CFL is totally tarnishing and tainting his success haha...but that's a crazy unreal stat none the less...and a lot is in him...but a lot is a total team thing too...
  6. Originally here he could...he actually threw quite well and had us become a field stretching offence...then something happened...then he got hurt a few times...then he was done
  7. I know we like to use the next man up mentality here, and I have no problems with Clements stepping in to Wilsons spot as every indication has shown he more than capable, and also isnt a rookie and has experience in 2021...but who backs him up??....and seeing as we passed on Awe and the released Alloutte player perhaps team knows the Wilson injury isnt season ending and not as bad as many feared?...hopefully so as I know Osh says all guys on roster are there cause they are capable and starter quality, but last year when we used Gauthier and Briggs in that spot...we were significantly and noticeably weaker and less dominant
  8. totally forgot how many times we gifted them the ball, and how little they could do with it
  9. i think it was that Nichols and or Lapo didnt trust that he could get it out to him...and teams knew that, and a lot of times that "decoy" was pointless, also sure it seemed like he improved his route running, and yeah he worked on it too, but when you aren't allowed to run routes in one place, but are in another for sure it will look improved...Lapo totally mismanaged Lucky here, almost caused him to stagnate, and his predictable play calling is what got him injured....and it's a shame as he would be an excellent piece in this offence here
  10. Yeah that one was especially brutal considering the stake of that game, and the juncture it happened...total garbage
  11. the key with this team, for most part very disciplined and rarely cripple or handcuff themselves with stupid penalties and selfish play, and also very rarely make mental errors and cough up the ball....smart, well coached and take that coaching into games and utilize it, and thats why we can win games where we played way below our level, or shouldn't have won...thats the key point here, and reason why I am not to concerned...especially here in July
  12. I'd be shocked if Osh leaves for there...totally shocked...ain't happening...has a good thing here, chance to become a legend...fully ensconced into city, kids are grown, he has no reason to go there...he has just as much reason to go to the Cats with that logic....Osh will not be the coach here when a) we fire him or b) he retires
  13. Pretty much refused to use him past the line of scrimmage
  14. Yup...pretty much...and has shown he can be a reciever all over the field...where when here a lot of people said he couldn't be...or wasn't...not his fault Lapo muzzled him...
  15. yup....may level the filed a bit with our injuries and short week...
  16. they will be 1 and 2 regardless....the team who has been in top spot all year...going into a cross continent short week with a myriad of injuries piling up...on the road won't get punted to 3rd or 4th with a loss to another unbeaten team...thats just plain dumb...especially when the 2 3rd and 4th teams have been less than inspiring themselves...
  17. this exactly....and you know the locker room has guys who will not be happy...and Macciaioca is very removed from todays game, and athlete....i can see them really floundering now
  18. exactly....and it makes for tuff sledding...especially when said team is still trying to get the roster settled and get rolling, when every week the team you are facing is coming at you extremely hard...to try and unseat you...it's a marvel all things considered we sitting at 4-0....proof right there that we are still the team to beat
  19. Lucky been a DNP this week....maybe he doesnt wanna get pummeled into a cast like last time ahahah....but if he can't go it's a bonus for us....still wish he was here and developed and actually utilized beyond how Lapo wrecked him...Imagine we could be rolling him and Lawler...with the other supporting cast and looks like make me Puke Williams is questionable....his 275k salary and minimal stats, and ability to not stay healthy is sure doing them wonders....not to mention having his loser antics and lack of true leadership...and still a hit on the cap to boot
  20. They have struggled since back half of last season, but still.....give the dude some rope....not sure why Miles was let go....Thorpe isn't gonna make em better...in all honesty the guys kind of a tool
  21. yup....quite the bone job there and no loyalty or any room to make things work....wrong move, but what can you do
  22. well you can injure it where it doesnt require surgery...tho I think that maybe they made the initial statement prior to teams physicians getting good look...and pics of it....also tho, he was on sidelines after...usually with a tear...complete tear u won't be seen again that night...especially not moving about on crutches on sideline
  23. Played full year last yr...no fines or "dirtyness" as well as 10 games in 2019, as he was hurt for a bit.....so buy what u want....has played basically just as much as everyone else
  24. I tend to agree....we aren't making mistakes to kill ourselves, playing a safe reserved game for the most part, and it's allowing us to win...we are deep, right across the board, and know what it takes to win, and don't get rattled/flustered. B.C as well....have played well, but also hadn't really seen a true test...I also don't think B.C has earned the chops yet to run with the big dawgs when the going gets tough....we're banged up...coming off a short week, and still not fitring on all cylinders, so gonna be a tough one.....but I can see a win, and even a convincing one....and if we do lose...it wont be an embarrasing joke of a loss like some teams have produced this year, and you wont hear us babbling about excuses....and having chips against us before game even started
