I doubt we lose any of the starting O-lineman to be honest....you have to remember too...players wanna have to leave and will take a lot to leave a good spot...Our olineman other than Desjarlais are all making around the top of their pay scale...so really to steal one you will have to wayyyyyyy over pay....and is that worth it?...we can offer fair value and have the playoff loot hanging there, plus being the place to be...I'm not worried in the least keeping any key piece, and could see us actually adding a key piece for under market value

Not sure why league can't work a partial guarantee into contracts...reduce the signing bonus in lieu of more salary..and if u dump a guy prior to contract completion...player gets a percentage of his signed deal... Kind of inline with what the signing bonus would/ could have been if done the old way. I am sure that players would agree to smaller signing bonus if it allowed for a bigger actually salary...with the agreement that If they cut/releaed prior to contract expiration they will recieve a singing bonus type compensation. Would make teams less Apt to sign rental type one yr fix type guys...allow for true team building and consistency...and also if I guy is dumped likely be more able to catch on somewhere else without throwing that teams sms into the crapper cause that player could conceivably sign for less as he doesn't have to make up for what he may have budgeted making that yr as he was let go with compensation With this as well I'm talking in a player's second deal...not rookie entry deals as technically u don't want to hamstring a team with compensation for new players who don't pan out...veterans...

He is/was not the same player as 4 yrs ago, so really...he was just a walking bandaid of his former self, and no longer a force out there...Dean..aging linebacker coming from a yr off...who knows what he may have offered them, but thats all on O'day We lots our SAM in tc...a guy who prob woulda been an all-star, so Walters promptly went out and brought in someone....an All-star and solid solid replacement.....their other injuries...the fact that they really dont stand out in my mind tells you they were insignificant Yet we started the season missing an all-star kicker, 2 all-star DB's...Our starting Will linebacker, lost our starting D-tackle in first game, were missing our starting All start "Canadian" tailback, but we filled those spots more than adequately....hello depth...and had to deal with loss of Adams...Demski...Harris again...Yoshi...all for extended periods....and just kept rolling around....so to say we were "lucky" is laughable....again....it's called depth...teams with it...win championships

all things considered...next year coming into season three he deserves a chnace to win QB 2....judging him on the MTL game is pointless...not a true indicator....all things previous to that indicated otherwise, and of all the QB's in 2019 and 2021..he has the most complete compliment of skillset...it's not an excuse for him, or being blind...just facts...that game was a bad situ in several factors

Yup...online will be key...I expect all back to be honest...and I can see big Stan getting right around what he got this yr...he won't hold team over barrel and he will play here...or he won't play I see the same with Neuf...he is loyal and all about team...give him fair value..which we were already and he's back...same with yoshi...these guys are at their top level now basically...and they know they have pretty much 25k minimum sitting here waiting as playoff cash... Desjarlais is one up for big bump and he will get it... Walters won't let him walk and I assume same with couture...and he is in contract 3 now too..so his bump isn't unmanageable It may come down to one of Gray or Eli as worst case...I can live with that... I can't see Harris holding us over barrel either and u would think if Darvin is back he will be at same or less..and Lawler and Bailey will be upgraded accordingly...also manageable...I know teams were advised to spend below the cap..not all did..not sure if we did...but we made it work..so confident we will again...possible cost cutting may be to veteran Canadian backups...Briggs..Gauthier..and guys like Josh Johnson and Antigua

nope....Riders be best to grab one of Evans, Masoli or Harris as their starter, and tell faj they want him, but at a backup slary...with start incentives...they aint getting a cup with him as starter, but he'd make a good back-up emergency guy...no question on that
