nor me...is it a case of if Demski isnt gonna play...we start 2 canadians on defense and McRae for Demski and Agudosi stays in?....which would be foolish as who backs up Kramdi then?....sure be nice if we took adbatage of the new rule to give us some wiggle room....but we wont cause Osh is stubborn and trying to make some kind of point....who knows what it is....but it's just silly...Or does it mean we have to sit Walker and or Haba and have healthy doses of Bennett and Thomas...efffectively making us weaker?

yeah I can see some Lawson and 3 de sets and it causing some issues....Jeffcoat as well when used in middle is pretty effective....He's prob the best pure pass rusher on the roster, and is good against run...when healthy, he's prob the best all around dlineman in the CFL

they have 23 snaps as a Canadian...So say WJ is the national....he can play 23 snaps in place of Thomas or Lawson so we can sub in an import for them...or any other declared starting Canadian on the defense if we declare more than 1

Clements tho has actuallybeen pretty good.....maybe he gets it this yr....but a healthy and up to speed Wilson is lights out...so when he ready will be a good dilemma

yup...this should for most part be our defensive line combo...maybe some tweaks with Walker/Fox and bringing on Hansen for Mauro when he ready....if all healthy...should be solid...Lawson is highly underrated, and kind of unknown , but will soon be noticed Mack reminds me a lot of Lawler...we keep him reigned in, and the defense shows up against the run...we actually have been good in that aspect...we should be good, as the Faj won't beat us from his passing...especially if we contain and keep him on the pocket...if our DT's cause issues and collapse..The Faj just does...well those Faj things we all love ahaha

I guess addition of Mcrae is the go to in Demski's spot if he cant go....tho not sure how we working ratio for that....guess Kramdi for Darby??....and why Osh refuses to use the Nationlized rule is baffling...especially on a week like this....Ibelieve u are allowed 1 on each side of the ball. On offence using it on Grant is such a waste and lame...as he rarely takes reps on offence, and even so...If he is in it's pretty obvious he's in on the play Also not sure why we feel the need right now for that extra O-lineman when we are lean as hell in some spots, and could use some roster flex....once again...Bizzare roster management That being said best DE roster all year, especially if Jeffcoat is 100% and can stay in lineup...would rather see Fox and Lawson as the defacto starting tackles....see what he has in a heavy workload...we know what Walker brings...then if they choose to dress only one going forward pick the best

goes back to what I brought up in the past...a lot....and I mean A LOT of talented guys have balked coming up here for TC and risk injury when they know...and have been told by players they know and even agents, that they are coming into a situation where they behind the 8-ball and if they competing for a spot that is likely going to be Canadian, that they will likely get cut because of it...even when player is inferior...also if there are some established vets, they know that getting on roster is almost impossible even for a back-up in game spot...again...due to ratio....and some guys that actually have extreme talent just won't take that risk coming here basically with no shot, and risk injury and derailing any chance they could get down south

Dudes has had 12 targets in 3 games...and for whatever reason he get pulled out a lot in the red zone plays....which also seems counter productive with a guy that possess' that size..has caught 9 of 12...drew a few penalties....not like he trash...if he was cut loose he's be signed prob fast as Castillo was signed by us Thing is too...he is real good on teams...one of his positives in the NFL yet we dont use him there...Actually has several punt blocks in his career too....I have talked with the Cards strength and condition coach and he raved about him....his work ethic and his aggresiveness...especially on teams...we jut not utilizing him right...and he is basically option 4 anyway...so what u expect

Yeah he was on the hot seat...Its not like they gave him 1 yr and were then gonna pooch him...took him 3 yrs to start the turn around...in pro sports thats an eternity, and for us it all worked out And the bitchin' about his roster makeup/management has been thrown about here for years...basically right from the start, it's not something we just have been moaning about now, and yes....we have been ultra successful despite it when you look at it....again...sometimes luck and breaks will massage over and hide weak areas That last game...prime example...Only 2 legit ends....heck I would go as far as say 2 legit dlineman in general (WJ and Haba) who got bagged out by 2nd half and got next to no help from Bennett/Scpackle/Thomas/Walker...4 guys I would be hard pressed to see any reps, let alone meaningful rotational reps on any other team, and the one guy who looks to have some potential (Fox) got minimal reps.....and it has a ripple effect on the back end...Also was Darby illness affecting his play, and got sat partway through game cause he was bagged...so only viable backup we had was Kramdi...Nice special teamer but not a legit starter as we seen...same with Lawrence...ws having horrible game, and we had no backup to put in and let the bleeding stop...to me...thats just not acceptable.....

and playing coy early in season with his schemes....Be interesting when we make the switch to this non aggressive approach

Pretty much and yup...we are playing a let the play fold out in front of you and come up to make the play scheme right now....I bet once Rose and Parker are back in, and they figure out that other corner spot, as we get healthy and figured out on the dline you will see the morphing of the scheme again....as has happened before I bet we see ol best feet ever flipped to corner opposite Rose with Nichols and one of Parker and Mouhamed at halfback here at some point...then we will see if the lil waif has what it takes to cover man on man and not be a liabillity out on an island....as his HB run support and playing in traffic ability aint the best

well for one...In regards to Salima nobody really needed a starting tailback...everyone had one who was established, and knows the league....so would make no sense cutting your starter for a promising rookie...he definately had the skills and tools...but here with us...we are committed to to a Canadian there....plus we had Mcrae...who in my opinion isn't an everydown back , and he has been here for 2..3 yrs now....so as per the way we roll here he gets the spot by default even tho he was in the tub,,.again....as he has had stints in that tub his whole time here....So thats why Salima hasn't been picked up...tho if Ottawa keeps sucking the high hard one with their run game I could see him surfacing there as they seem to like grabbing our scraps yes...and no...the media was clamoring for it as well, and lots of other so-called pundants around the league figured he was getting the axe too...so wasn't just a message board...and if u recall, his first few yrs he made some glaring mistakes, but we hung in and paid off...I for one was not calling for his head then....but did ***** about some of his bad moves....learning on the job is always the best way

at the pro level, if you cant play any form of press or man....how the heck are you a pro??...I think it more of scheme right now, and maybe with all the changes and some rookies, Hall is playing the "don't give up the big one" thing until we get things all settled...we have seemed to done this same thing...and we all had same discussions in early parts of previous seasons as well....so I think it's just that....or hope to hell it is, because if they feel we don't have the horses to play anything but...better get some new horses cause thats plain pathetic at this level

they way they have been so undisciplined there the last few yrs they need to go one further and cut his arse....send the message to rest the team that the b.s ends now
