  1. If it was the O.C dumbbumb should have said no to that regardless...what a stupid thing to do, and way to likely hoop yourself for a while now, as more beatings whenever he gets back on the field in that craptacular offence is just gonna keep re-aggravating it I wish he was playing tho so we don't have to put up with the excuses, but we would have anyway one way or another...Unless we make a buttload of boneheaded plays, have a couple fluke TD's against like against the Cats, I don't even see this being close to be honest....I just hope if we get up early...we don't coast, but keep the foot to the throat and see how any points we can rack up....As we seen all to recently how a 30 something to 4 game can turn into a 1 score game in a heartbeat
  2. I recall him well too...shame what happened...he was a very active poster
  3. You really could see it this weekend...the difference with what our receivers do downfield, and even in the box blocking, compared to the other teams....a couple of the games I watched was almost embarrassing to see....so not vested into the team first thing...and yeah...I know big Stan was pretty much banged up all yr last yr, but you would have never known it other than basically not practicing at all Yeah Yosh had a big game...he was just trucking dudes all game and was right psyched and animated too...he's a beast
  4. Yup....37....trucking his ass downfield on runs throwing guys 15 yrs his junior out of the way...not to mention old broken down Hardrick pancaking guys all game....He musta did that to Thurman and Bennet 3 times I noticed...and on a few other run plays was just rolling over guys....yup...they old and washed up
  5. When you have cast offs Lofton, Johnson, Ferland and Godber anchoring your line you don't have to worry about injury and depth issues...You will be fine Its funny how they chastise our line for being old and aging and will break down...none of whom have showed any of that, but their signing of Phillip Blake who will be 38 come playoffs was gonna make them great.....u just have to shake your head at some of that fan bases logic
  6. oh for sure...If Maier shows this week again that he is basically what we saw last week...then yup may very well be a 2 horse race for first
  7. I hope we get to see Schmitz this week...and then go forward with the one who looked the best...truth be told....he also looked a lot smoother holding on FG's
  8. I dunno....I like that Mills...he's also the perfect back to feed the ball to 15 to 20 times in that cold November rain...Dude is a beast
  9. hahaha....I just had to check....lol
  10. Thats a tongue in cheek comment to even be remotely compared to Stick eh??...lol That was a guy when he was in his prime...and no reason to be up here...we were truly blessed with that one...even when he came back later in his career...he was still the best...that dude was just flat out ....good
  11. Dicklesson may have effectively screwed their "big free agent score" for better part of the season if he's more than a lil knicked, cause behind that O-line he won't get any reprieve from being smacked around Also his history shows too, when he is hurting, or getting smacked around...especially now that he is hurting...he is a colossal failure, so will be interesting to see how this game plays out...even with him in I seen it as a fairly easy win...without...I see almost no contest....and I disregard the "media" and Rider faithful trumpeting their defense as just shutting down the Elks and being all dominant, and all horned up about that..goal line stand...which was a disgusting display of ineptitude from Edm...Corny couldn't hit guys 6 yards away from him...and when he did it was in their feet...or a ball they had to basically worry about try8ing to secure it, as opposed to just catch it and go....Gonna be a rude awakening trying to coral our crew...reign in BO and control our oline
  12. On one I know for sure BA was in a scheme where he didnt have the deep middle....I see a lot of times we scheme to have BA involved closer to the ball and don't utilize him in the sense of being a free-safety 20 yards deep...
  13. theres the rub tho...he wont get it now unless someone dumps salary...he may have to get what he can ...for this yr anyway and re-establish he's a player...he's still young enough Yup...on a nice cap friendly deal....I'd give him a look...maybe a new environment would invigorate him...if he can't find his game here...he prob has lost it...I'd give him a 2..3 game trial by fire, and like said...would make more roster sense than dressing that olineman whom I don't think even looked at his helmet let alone had a reason to slap it on
  14. I cant see him not getting nicked up...at minimum if not put out for a bit behind that unit...and that feeble receiving group....teams are gonna start to Tee off on him I bet until they show they can exploit it...which I highly doubt
  15. That is kinda what I see/think...with the bigger slots...inside...run support and in traffic he just doesn't sell me....He gets washed out a lot, now....if he was to be out in BA's spot, he would prob make an excellent cover safety and a guy working over the top creating all kinds of issues...and I bet could be a pick machine....but not a physical presence like BA...Guy has skill....but just don't see him as a bonafide every down HB over the long haul
  16. speed is just one part of the package....Most pro db's should be in the 4,4 to 4.6 range so really not much of a barometer for greatness ans yeah I got that vibe too...sure he recovered and made a play on a couple deep balls, but they make it seem like he baited them...which wasn't the case...If BLM had any deep ball touch left in that noodle he would have been torched for 3 TD's most likely...2 for sure and another long gainer. Give him credit he played the ball and Doosh Williams on that one jump ball where he fell and hurt his hiney...but I think everyone and their dog now just gloming onto some pre-season comments and now trying to make a big story out of it....I hope he is this great be all end all player...but I doubt it and dont see it....Nichols aint going nowhere...Pretty sure Parker would have been the game 1 starter if not hurt...Dude is a tackling machine....and now we have Muhamed....he will be in tough to keep that starting gig when all guys are healthy, but that being said he adds to solid depth with the the whole stable of guys we have, and we know that if needed he shouldnt kill us out there with ineptitude
  17. Them 70 degree days are just a killer ahahahahaa.....what a turd
  18. Was clearly beat...Bo under and over threw...allowing recovery...
  19. hahahaha.....zinger
  20. yeah...If anything he always brings it, and is a huge factor come play-off time.....and i he could stay healthy for 18 games would be in the MODP hunt yr after yr
  21. thats what happens to your roster when you blow a nut on 2..3 guys in a dumb spending spree...u end up raping other parts of your roster, as well as depth
  22. would have made more sense to just keep him anyway and get rid of one them O-line guys not named Richmond that will never...ever see the starting lineup nd in all honesty should have kept Sterling around on th PR especially with Jeffcoats injury issues, and see if more time here learning the game that he could develop into something...He didn't seem out of place in pre-season...showed more than Bennett did, even tho he has the luxury of the right passport, but still....use a spot up on a global Punter and O-lineman...4 and 5 deep down the depth charts of our Globals..actually 5 and 6 when Hansen is ready
  23. sounds a lot like a Rider Olineman
