WJ/Haba/Garbutt/Fox/Adams/Woods/Schmeck with Wilson/Ayers/Cole would be the ideal guys to roster with bolded guys eating up 60 to 80% of snaps as front line guys carrying the load. Gives you 7 legit guys upfront to allow your linebackers to actually be active and seek and destroy...not how we have been relagated to using Biggie a lot of late. If/when we nail down Bennett...even better as that would give 8 guys to rotate, and I would slot him into lineup in lieu of the extra O-lineman which is kind of overkill. That would give us a tremendous front....with really verstaile guys both inside and outside...Thomas is not needed and will not bring the energy or athleticism of any of those guys...just watch tonight for a good example. If Schmecks isn't getting it done then swap them out...or let Samson have a go....and again drop Thomas in as a last resort...That being said a healthy Lawson makes things even easier and basically a non discussion Fox...Haba..Garbutt have played on cover teams, so it's not like they only serve one purpose like Thomas does...I dont believe Schmeck does either....tho I recall Mason Bennett doing it

They can be in all game without both Kramdi and Gauthier...we only need to have 1 Canadian on the field at any given time as we only declare 1 as a Canadian position...and 6 on offence

he not a good cover linebacker....and that run down was like....5 yrs ago??...He's good in run situations....but not a complete everydown guy you want out there...if he was....he'd been doing it for years now Not concerned with Ford one bit on the corner...and the issue I could see is rust and syncronicity for a bit....That being said, it's the same offence thats been in place for yrs now...same guys....a few new installs but they should over come....So not too concerned....and our defence is facing Cody flippin Vajardo....No way he will beat us back to back...Likely no way he does again rest his career....guy fluked his one moment out already

Don't get me wrong...love the fact we saw error of our ways and have 5 legit import dlineman..that's gonna do us wonders...also the option to have an actual extra db and a linebacker But for game 1...knowing you were down a player at a certain position...and not having a backup for it and needing to play another guy...a new guy at that out of position to me doesn't seem optimal...and also avoidable

first game of the yr...you should be able to roster pretty much your ideal lineup....or dam well close to it without having to have guys play out of position on the assumption that they can do the job...especially one guy who hasnt even been here more than 2 weeks and has had all of what...1 practices for the first game, and maybe 3 before first pre-season... yeah.....watch last 2 grey cups.....thats a good example of burning guys out with no depth....and as for the bold....wouldn't you want actual replacements...who play the spot?

Why burn them out uneccessarily on the outside tho needlessly...U have an open PR spot....could have held one of them at the least knowing your one game day guy was out....it's just efficient roster/PR management....but we aren't being effeciant with it....leading back to last 2 yrs it biting us right in the arse in the Cup....more of the same right out of the gate it's appearing..very curious for the in-game rotations...and subsequant adjustments

none of our other Canadians recently no... we didnt use a backup one all last yr...so really....status quo...and we could flip Woods for and end if we need be....use Schmeck as the DT rotation....Punt Thomas for Hubert as he can play ST's....

they werent very limited from what I saw....10 snaps total is too much....and I was watching...trust me And if thats the case...he is on roster for a limited number...why have him as thenstarter?...to butter his bun or something.....fact of the matter he is in the way, and taking the roster spot of a younger...better player we could be developing to be that much further along by yrs end...and into next yr....He serves no purpose here now other than a gifted loyalty spot....he isn't the future and if Osh is looking at him still for next yr as a key cog...he should seriously be sat down by Miller and Walters and told to wake the eff up...or just not give him the opportunity to roster him and tell him he not being re-signed for 2025 considering Upshaw..Rivers were just here..showed they can play...and we have open spot on the PR....nice PR use...again

for a good example of context in what he brings...watch tomorrow on any play going toward the sideline...or away from him....and when dust settles...watch him jogging up behind the play doing nothing....that should tell you all you need to see on what he brings If a play isnt funnlled right to him by others...usually standing there unale to get off his blocker...or a ball carrier runs right at him...he offers nothing that a raw rookie with zero experience could

I have to give him his due....he was good at long snapping....but that as well as an American DI is a bad roster move too....It was just Man Love that had him rostered....nothing more...nothing less

Fox and Haba are hardly new tho...both been here since last yr, and that really is a pretty weak excuse if a guy is talented enough. You don't learn much or really get to show much in practice over the course of a yr...not in this day and age Athleticism...ability and ability to play with speed....if you have that...you will be just fine...

or Ayers...Wilson and Cole....even better...see what Ayers has...dont know until you try....You definately know what you have with Gauthier...limited effectiveness as an every down guy...but as solid as their is in the league for a role and certain down and distance scenarios

Is a better option tho wilson between Cole and Kramdi...I say certainly....and I not even a fan of Kramdi taking starter reps....in rotation sure but not the bulk

and as many have claimed here that the firt 2..3 games are pre-season games anyway...and support the notion that sitting some guys with zero reps is aokay as thats what these games are for...well then take it further and test out the possible future and see what they have...you already know what a lot of the past has done...and their ever increasing limitations....no??

Exactly....zero....If I could see it as actually a football talent related thing...as well as player upside/future and more importantly development in areas of need then I would be on board....But as a coach myself the goal is always to put out the best roster, giving you the best chance to win....within the rules of your league, and never to play favorites.....I not seeing that here....

what do you call playing an inferior player...over a more talented one...in effect making your overall roster weaker?....Lets take Nationality out of it...what would that be looked as....especially when you "don't" have to do that...

it is when bottom line is a championship...also when you start more than you need to....over talent...I get it...Its the CFL and you think it's better the more Canadians there are...It is if it about patriotism and pride...It's not when you sacrifice talent...skill and Cups tho....plain and simple he get it...many dont tho....sadly
