Alberta Economy & Oil (Split Discussion)
actually you're off by a fair bit "Norway today sits on top of a $1-trillion Cdn pension fund established in 1990 to invest the returns of oil and gas. The capital has been invested in over 9,000 companies worldwide, including over 200 in Canada. It is now the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world. " http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/norway-s-sovereign-wealth-holds-lessons-for-canada-1.3002803 LOL. five million or so people. Bet they're all bitching and complaining about what a lousy job their socialist government did for them. or maybe they're not: "To the surprise of absolutely no one, Norway has been declared the world's happiest country. The United Nations Human Development Index 2011 measures happiness in different countries based on factors such as income, education, health, life expectancy, economy, gender equality and sustainability."

Milanovich career as a coach Rhein Fire (2003) Quarterbacks Coach Calgary Stampeders (2003) Quarterbacks Coach Rhein Fire (2004) Quarterbacks Coach Rhein Fire (2005) Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Cologne Centurions (2006) Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Montreal Alouettes (2007) Quarterbacks Coach Montreal Alouettes (2008) Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Montreal Alouettes (2009–2011) Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/ Quarterbacks Coach I think it's safe to say he knows a thing or two about quarterbacks.

Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
you have to think, they stuck with Drew to the point of losing their own jobs...... only in the direst circumstances did they bench him. So It's not just Milanovich that thinks there's still a good quarterback there.

Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
also..... they're not going to trade Drew.

Alberta Economy & Oil (Split Discussion)
"Doesn't a weak dollar help oil exports?" For the most part, oil is traded on the world market, sales are in US dollars. Sadaam tried to start dealing in other than US dollars for oil sales.

Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
please explain why willy would do any better anywhere else. If as some people think, his problem is making fast enough reads... how does changing teams fix that? I'm just a casual fan, but it looks to me as though Nichols makes decisions about what to do with the ball faster than Drew.

Alberta Economy & Oil (Split Discussion)
I don't know. would you agree that Alberta should have done more to diversify the economy? Not sure what they have done in the dept. since the prior bust in the early eighties, but I don't think very much has been done to stop depending so much on oil. anyway, I don't wish any province any ill will, hope something can be done to turn it around.

Alberta Economy & Oil (Split Discussion)
pretty easy to make the some of the mistakes they've made in alberta, not many, including experts of all kinds, thought that oil would bust again... cause of a number of things. but..... someone told me the provincial royalty on oil was one percent. That is probably they're biggest, dumbest mistake. go cats!
