  1. Not to mention he was just re-instated for very questionable behavior. Might be time for him to get an apple and a roadmap too. What a complete lack of character that organization hides behind Pinball's pearly whites. I feel like they already did.
  2. He needs a break anyway. His back is shot from all the tooth pulling over his career.
  3. If they would add a jug to their band they would never have to leave home for big gigs.
  4. I'd be way more impressed, and grateful, if they made them re-appear.
  5. Maybe we wait to see the snap count of these extra NATs before we label MOS as anti-American.
  6. At the end of the day, I am happy the complainant gets to move on with her life, Hopefully, the league office is now shifting it's focus on ensuring Kelly gets the mental help he desperately needs to reform his atrocious behavior, and also has it's bullseye painted squarely on another person of suspect character that was already given one chance. Mr. Murphy, you got some questions to answer.
  7. Yea...wbbfan is still in shock from the 07 loss to the Criders and skipped Buck Pierce being our start in 11. Mike Kelly, in all his wisdom, gave Glenn an apple and a roadmap in '09 at the request of some fans he had been talking to at 7/11.
  8. Can't disagree with any of that.
  9. Warning before reading: The following opinion may not be a popular one here. When it comes to best media segments and analysis that I've seen in recent memory, I have 2 give Lapo's coach's playbook as something I both thoroughly enjoyed and thought he broke down extremely well so even the average fan could understand. There I brought his name up, I am prepared for the hate on to begin.
  10. Was terrible last season, but I don't know if there were extenuating circumstances such as injury or something. Infinitely better than what you had though.
  11. You want recruits leaving with the feeling that they have been given every opportunity to make the team. Never wanna have the rep that recruits are just TCF. Also, there are probably a half dozen guys we released that may end up back here through circumstance. Just because we cut them today doesn't mean we are throwing away their phone number. For us. That's who. We may end up with a couple or more of those guys back here yet if injuries hit, or guys just don't play well that we initially kept ahead of them. There were several positions where the staff had some extremely tough decisions, so that's a good thing and a good reason to give guys, that you know you are going to cut but only based on a small factor, some playing time. Gemmel falls down and twists his knee, maybe Moses is still available, or Mitchell' s hands don't improve we grab a different receiver back that has gone a full camp with us.
  12. I agree. Blitzing is only effective when it can catch an OL by surprise. Done too much you are going to get torched. You gotta have a front 4 that can at the very least get the QB off his spot consistently.
  13. RadioRyan was about the most sensical take in that whole article. Let that sink in for a minute. MOS just simply is the type of guy that does not ever show his cards in the media. Boring...but I get it.
  14. I don't mind us keeping DBs we never heard of in preseason. When ppl know a new DBs name well it can sometimes be a bad thing. Hardly heard Nichols name all year last year..no one threw his way.
  15. FIFO as a term is irrelevant. However, the culture that MOS has set up in his dressing room is by far the best in the league. If the players want to call it FIFO..so be it. They endorse it, and MOS, because it's real, tangible, and above the norm.
  16. It's funny how the guys with an axe to grind against MOS suddenly find no merit in FIFO..when we all know damn well it is the source of the best locker room culture in the CFL. It gives merit to the strong point of MOS's coaching so now it's a sham perpetuated by the media. Alrighty then. FIFO is about fitting in and being a team first guy. Shoes or a colorful personality have bupkus to do with that.
  17. He was never more than a rotational guy. I'm not sure who thought he'd be a star but if someone was thinking that it was an over reach. All I read on here, was that he would be a solid pickup for us as part of the rotation. Still would be.
  18. Intact teeth....if by black broken off nubs you mean intact teeth....then yea for sure. Rider jerseys are rubber boots black, Those are the wedding rubber boots...green ones are every day wear. I Rorketon Saskatchewan, as I type this, there is a Rider fan in the outhouse looking up what obsidian is, and then smacking his head saying "why didn't they just say rubber boot black"
  19. I agree with that.
  20. The guy had a QBR of 112.8 last year. He had virtually identical stat lines to 2022 and better than his first MOP win in 2021. What part of that screams inconsistent? Did he have a couple down games after he was injured? Yep...but for the most part he was same old Zac. Agreed. Forums would be pretty boring if everyone agreed, and then it would likely attract the contrarians which is more annoying than any debate I've seen around here lately.
  21. Keep in mind that he was playing thru injury for about 4-5 games last year.
  22. 2019 and 2021 as well. We just came out on the right end of the scoreboard. Playoffs are a different animal for QBs.
  23. He was the number one rated QB last year over the QB that won MOP. Some on here are suggesting he struggled. I think they've got their man at 5th receiver picked out. I am not sure if they have the same on defence.
  24. Yep...that is the point I was making. I have zero doubts are offence this year is going to be off the hook. All my question marks are on defence.
  25. I agree. Just saying he was in the conversation.
