I guess the feeling amongst myself and likely many other Jets fans is that our first rounders are like gold. Very hard to part with unless it makes absolute sense. Monahan has 35 points in 49 games this year. It is a solid add. Vancouver set the tone with the acquisition of Lindholm.

This team needs to regroup and get healthy. And re-establish the dominance that made them successful early on. I think the schedule has got these guys out of sync. After the break, it's going to be more regular hockey and we'll see more consistency from this team.
