Ideally though you'd like to be going in on a roll and establish the game that made you so dominant in the first quarter of the season. We need two holes filled: 1. A solid top 2 D man to play with Morrissey. This is a pipedream, but I would love to see Alex Pieterangelo in a Jets uniform. 2. A solid 2 C that can drive offense in addition to top line AND MAYBE... We somehow get Jonathan Toews into the lineup. That alone would inject a tonne of life into the team, and the fans.

Maybe this teams identity is based on defense instead of offence? I remember seeing how offensively underwhelming the 2014 Olympic team was. But they went 6-0, including a 2-1 quarterfinal win over Latvia, followed by a 1-0 semi-final win over USA. Then they beat Sweden for Gold 3-0. I too am grasping at straws, but you cannot overlook that they have only given up 2 goals (3 with the shootout goal). That's something to build on.

In their 2 wins they haven't given up a goal. With the USA losing to Finland first place is still up for grabs.
