Great assessment. I also think that this team looked like a team that hadn't played in 2 weeks. So rust was also an issue there. I think we've beat the dead horse on Stanley long enough... I like the Olympics and IIHF handling of the anthems. The winning team anthem is played at the end of the game. In general I think the anthems at sporting events like NBA/NHL/CFL/NFL etc. are dumb. Don't get me wrong, I love belting out O Canada, but like others have mentioned, the teams are comprised of players from multiple nations. I think they should seriously consider removing them.

I think it's been a fun tourney. Way better than the all-star game. Why Logan Thompson isn't the starting goalie for Canada is beyond me. Binnington like St. Louis are one hit wonders.

His play tonight was indicative of low hockey IQ. That 3rd pairing is an absolute gong show and a liability. In playoffs it's going to matter.

Time to beat this dead horse again... Why do they insist on playing Stanley. Jets were really hemmed in the 10 to 12 minutes of the first. Since then it was a completely different story. Strike back for three straight goals.
