I still maintain that the Jets have a better chance against the Leafs then they do against Edmonton. So 4th place isn't great but I doubt there is any real home ice advantage in these playoffs. Still the Jets play of late is extremely concerning and nothing suggests this team is ready for playoff hockey. We need some w's in the column though to at least build some confidence or it's another first round exit.

I watched the Ehlers/Thornton shenanigans. Found it entertaining. Not sure how Thornton is allowed to continually cross check someone and get away with it. Good for Ehlers sticking up for himself and not being afraid. But the Leafs aren't dirty. Man I wish he had someone on this Jets team that would just punish someone. People bitched about Buff's defensive awareness at times, but ffs his hits could change the course of a game. We need this back in our lineup badly.

Jets lose two in a row in regulation for the 2nd time this season. Toronto was due given they lost 5 straight again. Here's to Saturday and they better play with some gusto. There was no excuse to come out this flat against a reeling team.

Vancouver did us a favour by beating the Leafs. We are catching them at a good time and hope to make it 6 straight losses for Laff nation. Boys should be rested and ready to fly.

We also played on the back to back too. Laff nation will make any excuse when they lose. The reality is that their powerplay let them down and the 5-3 on kill essentially won the game for the Jets. Now to give McDavid and co. some well deserved payback
