Nice to see the Riders falling apart... I was worried about their first half but it seems like it was more of Edmonton coming out flat.

A tie was fine, probably even more well deserved than a win or loss for either team. Both teams had ample opportunity to close out the game and neither one could. Robinson dropped the easiest interception you'll ever see in football.

Good. I had seen more than enough of Calgary and Ottawa finding different ways to piss that game away.

Ottawa would be better off with LaFrance than Grigsby.

Maver was drafted as a kicker wasn't he? He hasn't really gotten to do it since he got hurt and Paredes broke out, but it might be worth Calgary's while to take another look at that one.

Missed a ton of tackles as well. The sad thing is, he was hardly a downgrade from Bruce Johnson in the first two weeks.

The problem is, at least for the Bombers, is that they also can't recruit enough quality import O-linemen. It seems like the position in general is in a state of disarray.

I noticed that we had better adjustments against the blitz as well. We actually kept guys like Harris and even Smith in to block when Hamilton overloaded and sent seven guys.

Willy gets the ball out to him on those swing passes a little quicker/harder and he has a lot more room to run as well.

Our secondary still sucks though. It'll be a little better when Adams is back, but its hard to know who to blame between the DB's and the scheme.

Willy had numbers like that in the first two weeks. This is exactly why stats are deceiving.

I actually thought our O-line played a pretty good game tonight. Goossen was getting dominated, but from what I can tell everyone else did fairly well or at least decent.

Man, I know we're frustrated with Willy but I would hate to be stuck with a duo like Jennings & Lulay.

5-6? More like 8-9... You could even make a case that it's been more like 12 years since we've had a QB who's excelled in those situations.
