  1. I agree, Wily was freaking terrible and should be ashamed with himself.

11 sacks 80% of which were his own fault.

Quite frankly, anybody who disagreed and was standing in front of me tonight, I may be drunk but i know what I know and I'd punch him in the face for outright stupidity. Seriously, some plays Willy had all bloody day but he'd then pull down the ball and run right into a BC defender for no bloody reason. Soo freaking aggravating it's ridiculous.

  2. Honestly he's a good QB but he shoudl of been pulled at least half way through the 3rd quarter. Over half of the sacks he took were 100% on himself, sometimes he panick for noreason when no defender was anywhere near, him this would then cauuse him to run right into a guy for nor freaking reason. Other times he could of easily bought hismelf more time if he had better awareness. Honestly the the o-line actually plyaed pretty darn good but Drew Willy did his best to make them look like crap by continually running into guys for nor freaking reason. Also, that interception he trough that turned the tied of the entire game, simply inexcusable, no pressure at him at all and he just made the stupidest decision ever. He should be embarrassed with himself but likely he's not, hel'll just use the o-line as scape goat like he always does. Even that he's the one who played like complete crap. Marve should of been in by mid point of the 3rd quarter.

Anybody who disagrees, I don't even want to see your post, you're cluless and need to buy some glasses.

    Thanks

    Bye.

p.s. Etcheverry is a complete moron and hsould be fired ASAP.

p.p.s. Shame on O'shea for taking this long to get rid of Grigsby and play Cotton, that right there is terrible and idiotic coaching. Any running back that gets tackled by 1 arm as much as Grigsby is an embarrassment to the sport of football. ANy coach that keeps playing him ahead of a guy like Cotton who is so sound fundamentally that it's is incredible, should be embarrassed with himself.

p.p.p.s Shame on BelleFool for not giving Cotton the ball more, should of been an easy choice with how badly Willy was playing. So much pancking for no reason, incredibly pathetic.

  3. This is the same guy, in his rookie season, that threw for 661 yards in one game.  He also won his last Grey Cup when he was 41 with the Argo's.  He threw for over 5000 yards in a season when he was 42, and threw 33 TD passes.  He broke 1000 yards rushing in his last season with Ottawa.  He broke 700 yards rushing 8 of his 23 years playing.  And it looks like he was the first string QB 20 of those 23 years as being a QB.  For a guy you're deeming as average, he sure broke quite a few records.  No, he wasn't the greatest QB, but he certainly wasn't just average.  I'd say he did pretty well for himself.

    K.. Fine fine..

He was an Exceptional Above Average QB... ;)

    That's all I'm saying.

Truthfully, I think that is what most of us are saying.. It's other folk who seem to think that anything other then "omgz bestest mobility QB evar!!" Is an insult to his accomplishments... When, really... Saying he belongs in the hall, that he had a great career despite not being the most accurate or "football talent" QB are not insults either..

This place simply spawns bitchfest after bitchfest.... Can we all agree on that at least? Lol.

do you even read what you type? You obviously can't read what others type so I doubt itm
  4. Glenn has been on better teams than Allen and has not won. Whether Allen moved around or not is irrelevant, it's more because his demand was high than the other way around. The fact that he won so often while moving around so much is even more impressive than if he had been on one team.

yeah that Eskimo team Allen started on was pure crap right? Get real.

you get real we're talking 23 freaking seasons worth of teams, think before you speak.

  6.

Damon Allen was a pretty average QB who lasted a long time.

    facepalm statemetn of the year.

Remember the Argos' '04 Grey Cup win? Allen was basically a game manager for them

Umm he still won it, and at how old... Pretty impressive considering how banged up he got because of his playign style.

394 passing TDS and 93 rushing tds vs only 278 interceptions.

    4 x Grey Cup Champ.

    3 x Grey Cup MVP

    1 time CFL MOP

Yet he's a lucky, average, long long time QB according to some of you. Ridiculous. It's like you think to be a good QB you HAVE to be amazing at sitting in the pocket 90% of the time and have a completion percentage over 65.

    11,920 career rushing yards.

It's not a fluke he won 4 grey cups, it's harder to defend a guy that could do what he did as well as he did, then it is to defend an Anthony Calvillo.

  7. Well they started off the year with lots of quick release throws to Bowman, now they've figured out they have a real good running back in John White and are now using him quite a bit, both of those help slow up the rush on the QB. Not to mention it's not really a concern with Reilly because of how* good he runs and how much adamantium has been bonded to his skeleton.

  8. Daniles not bad at all, but Goossen was beaten pretty soundly more than once, but that's the price you pay to gain experience.

Exactly Brohm was getting the ball out faster than Willy, Marve runs better than Willy and and cotton found his holes in party because Marve helped open **** up and in part because he's just plain better than Grigsby. O-line wasn't really any different.

  9. All I know is Marve hands down has more talent than Willy, whether he gets fair chance to continue to prove it, i doubt it.

I have NEVER seen a Bomber QB with escapability like that and still have the ability to turn around and reposition himself enough to throw a dart in, all while still looking down field and making a fairly fast guy look like a fool.

Also, it's annoying how people talk about Willy like he's been lighting the league up for years.

  10. We've wasted far more opportunities and lost far move drives going to Bryant than going to Kelly. Bryant has been the single biggest negative contributing factor to our offense this season, so this decision is mind boggling. Romby saved himself a roster spot by his effort on that last meaningless play, congrats Romby you tool.. Heck we probably have 2 more wins on the season now if Romby was never brought in this season.
