Lawler is getting 275 in Hamilton. Schoen was 175 plus incentives. Mitchell was 163. You could have paid Kenny 275 and had 88 k at least left over. All it costs you is Schoen and Mitchell. Who isn't taking that trade off?

If Walters didn't talk to Kenny until the day before free agency, that's a mistake on his part. If the Bombers shut down his ability to do the football camps he was doing with his work permit, that's awful on their part. That said, key word is if.

I guess they think Hallett is better on teams than Kelly? Hallett is one of those guys they need to move on from.

Houston for Vaval so that later can focus on returns is a nice move. Ayers is still a poor use of a roster spot. Would have liked to see Echols in for Mitchell and Cobb for Corcoran. I'd have removed Woodby too.

Streveler in with the 1s today. I was curious about BC's defense and they're giving up 265 passing yards a game this year, which honestly makes Streveler's 246 look a little less stellar to me. If you take out the game against Montreal's third and 4th stringer, the 2 against Tre Ford and the one against Maier, its 305+ versus team's starters. My point is yeah he was good in that game but against a bad D.

No report on what Zach makes next year. It was 600k this year and hard to see him taking a pay cut.

Kelly is making $625000 in hard money this year and next. Can't see how we'd make it work moneywise.

I mean in 2019 and 2021, you have Jefferson, Jeffcoat and Biggie who were studs on D. Nichols and Alford were studs on D in 2021. Alexander too. On offense, Harris was a stud both years. Lawler and Zach were in 2021 and I'm likely missing people I should be listing.

Good points and I was likely a little harsh, my overall thought was that our roster needs work and we don't really have as many standouts as you would like.

O-Kolo, Mitchell, Wallace or Neufeld D-Vaughters, Vaval, D.Lawson Jake as well. A better question is to me outside of Demski, Brady, Pokey on offense and Nichols and Holm on D, is there anybody else on our roster other teams would start? Want?

Fajardo has shown more as a starting QB since 2019 than Streveler has at any point in his career.

Even with the game versus BC where Streveler played well, he had two weeks to prepare and honestly BC has a lousy D. Streveler passed for 246 yards which is below BC's average.
