  1. Actually I plan to vote NDP because the PCs have done a terrible job managing healthcare (ER closures/consolidation, the handling of COVID, the increased wait times for medical procedures and a backlog larger then when they took over, denying healthcare professionals a contract for 5-6 years) and education (underfunding education so classes are larger and there are less supports for students with additional needs, not to mention a lack of supports for a growing EAL population and mental health) which are their two main areas of responsibility. I also don't think they've managed public finances well (those education tax rebates are through loans which is going to add nearly a billion to the provinces debt). Additionally I don't like the homophobia and racism displayed by many of their members. Finally I don't like the anti education, anti academic, anti expert comments of many of their elected memebers or those running their campaigns.
  2. Derek Dennis being cut is shocking. Who is Calgary going to use there? I could see the Riders scooping him up.
  3. People actually know who gb is in real life and can identify him? He has a knock off Nichols uni with tags on?
  4. Caleb Thomas looks good at DT. I think we need another DE to rotate with the Jeffs, perhaps Lemon? Not sure about linebacker with either Wade or Clements. Worried right now about our ability to stop the run. Excited about our offense.
  5. Pigrome looks like a nice weapon, who should be great in short yardage and for whom you can have a specific package of plays ala Strevy.
  6. Exactly. Either, both would be great adds and would help.
  7. Wonder how long Harris plays. Hope the team really gets after him.
  8. Actually a majority of Canadians support safe injection sites, although many don't support them in their immediate neighbourhood. https://www.pollara.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Pollara-Safe-Injection-Sites-January-2023.pdf
  9. Actually both @17to85 and myself have both stated that we don't particularly like Trudeau or the Liberals but feel that PP and the Conservatives are worse, I may be forgetting others who have said similar things. Guess that doesn't fit your narrative though.
  10. My first reaction to the Lawler news is WTF? My second is that I am worried, such a big part of the team. My hope is that Agudosi or somebody steps up.
  11. So every person suffering from addiction or using drugs is a drugged out zombie? A user commented on the police buying new BMW motorcycles on his facebook group (a legitimate question) and he proceeded to defend the police and police spending (his right) because in his words, there are a lot of drug users who are out there like drugged out zombies. Explain why you think his words are ok. Now if he had said something like we need more policing dues to issues arising from substance abuse problems, all right but his words were poorly chosen and seem to indicate an individual who doesn't care much about others, especially those who are on the margins of society. (See his comments about the police rousting homeless people from bus shelters for another example).
  12. Interesting article in the press today about Browaty calling drug users, drugged out zombies.
  13. My mistake on an earlier post, while The Fair Elections Act was criticized, it wasn't thrown out by the courts but significantly altered by a new government.
  14. PP has been an MP for roughly 19 years and has had one bill become legislation, the fair elections act that got dismantled by the courts.
  15. Thought he'd be a star. Excellent start to his rookie year if I recall correctly.
  16. Rest Lawler, Schoen and Demski too. Time to let Jeremy Murphy eat.
  17. Its clear he and his WEF buddies are going to lower it to $35 a barrel to break Alberta, so they can begin enacting Agenda 2030.
  18. Oil Prices are $70 a barrel today and their budget is for it to be $79.
  19. If he could do both could he DI as a MLB/Rush end?
  20. Some are. Alberta was already having difficulties filling residency spots this year. There have been articles about doctors talking about leaving due not only to privatization of healthcare but Alberta opting out of CPP, Alberta's approach to the 2SLGBT community and the general direction of the government.
  21. Alberta might end up like many Republican led states down south where doctors are leaving.
  22. I just remember McKinley starting at linebacker and getting run over by Jesse Lumsden.
  23. Sad day for Alberta and Canada. Hope Manitoba is smarter in the fall.
  24. Heck BOLO has extra value because not only does he look ready to break out, he's a national. I could see Murphy on the AR too if he can contribute on teams.
