That's the thing. By basically all measurements, Collaros did have a great year. He'd start on 8 teams tomorrow...maybe 7 if BC is stupid. His down fall, while inevitable is being highly over exaggerated on this forum.

Whoever we have on that OL. I hope they play with a bigger chip in their shoulder this year. Not that they didn't have any last season. But there were too many liberties taken with players by some defenses this past year and a lack of response by the big guys. Don't get yer panties in a bunch...they played with attitude and played to the whistle often. But....when teams started getting lippy and really punching back (didn't happen often) the OL didn't respond in kind....which I understand would draw a penalty or two. But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. That is one of my big complaints about the GC honestly. MTL started hitting hard and talking **** and no one of the offense seemed to care.

I never said he only played one good game. I've also never said he played poorly in the GC. I HAVE said that the last TD pass he made was a great throw. I laugh at the notion that a team can't go on a win streak without good qb play. Which is something you stated earlier. MTL with basically any other qb on their team is pushing TO for 1st place. Yes even Maier (who I believe was let down more by play calling/offense design than his talent). Faj was anywhere from pure trash to barely a game manager all year. He definitely showed up in the GC, but again he took what the Bombers D gave him and Hall never adjusted. Out of all the QBs that finished the year starting....Faj is #8 of 9.

I don't know...saying he'd be interested in any NFL opportunity isn't something that should get people's panties in a bunch. I wouldn't mind if MOS said the same thing. It's like getting pissy about a player saying the same thing.

That quote is out of context. They were discussing the potential to recieve NCAA offers or NFL offers. Then it quotes him saying he'd prefer the NFL.

I absolutely did. When he reupped with the Argos earlier, I was surprised as I thought he'd look for opportunities to move up. When it became known that it was between him and Buck, I said the smart choice is Mace. The strength of that Argos team was always the defense. He had a really strong roster but he also got the absolute best out of them. And from all accounts the team loved the guy. Who knows how he'll do now that he's the man, but saying he wasn't a top choice is just wrong.

Just replace Maces name with Buck in your rant and the same is true....with the exception of the spoon fed part.

Like one poster told me I was advocating for the Bombers to move on from Collaros, even though I've never said that. And when I asked them to prove I had posted something like that, they just vanished and pretended like they never accused me of doing that.

This would also be a great question for someone in the media to ask...
