  1. And how many guys do we see come up BACK to the CFL for half a year, only to get another shot at the NFL right after? Especially a guy who has spent 3 years down there...that just doesn't happen...nevermind adding in the fact he's a QB.
  2. I'm saying this is his last shot. Year 3(?) jumping from PR to PR with some games here and there. The NFL isn't a wait and see what happens league for an undrafted middle aged (By NFL standards) QB. Every team in the NFL is aware of what he can and can't do at this point, especially after this preseason. Coming back up to the CFL for half a year to play backup QB isnt suddenly going to make a team notice him. To the NFL he is what he is. If he doesn't find a spot, his next opportunity will come AFTER/IF he lights the CFL on fire for a few years.
  3. Also I don't buy the come up here for some more film/stay sharp...and try again. This is his LAST shot (for multiple years anyway). If he can't find an NFL home before the end of the year, he's a CFL'er.
  4. I bet BC is closer to the cap than a lot of people think. They have a lot of money tied up in the Rec. and their defensive back field. Rourke on the 6 game isn't saving them much as he was making under 100k I believe. Honestly his BEST option in terms of playing/being paid might be SSK (assuming Cody is 6 gamed) or Hamilton.
  5. I feel like he would fit right in on the Lions. Their coach very much reminds me of Oshea...hard nosed football!
  6. It's not fair how the league is mistreating him. Especially when the league hasn't done anything to Jeffcoat this year for a hit he made on a player 3 years ago!!
  7. I agree with this, except CGYs Defense is not as good as SSK. At the least the front 7 anyway. If Riders are going to win it'll be off turnovers and great play by their Defense. Anyone who thinks the criders O is going to be a major threat hasn't been paying any attention this year.
  8. Yeah how dare owners try to interact with fans. What a schlub!
  9. Was just gonna say, there's gonna be a lot of confused CFL fans who kept saying Streveler can't throw the ball, after he makes the Jets while throwing multiple game winning TDs.
  10. This game will be a battle of the defenses. I expect a low scoring game that will be closer than a lot of people think.
  11. Yeah I've said a few times Litre should be their starting RB....but that performance last night was God awful. What he have 3 brutal drops on that last drive?
  12. we also killed the clock in field goal range. Those 3 points aren't as important as some (mostly cgy and or crider fans) are making them out to be.
  13. He had that issue last year as well. Collaros often throws the deep ball just a bit late.
  14. How many injuries are they facing now? It's actually getting ridiculous. Yet...no excuses...no fuss...just W's
  15. We will have multiple players ejected out of the game I'm sure.
  16. They still have Logan who has been just as dangerous if not more so. ST coverage needs to be on their **** tonight!
  17. well you're not going to get what you want. which...he has been of course.
  18. except of course...Leggs has hit games winners this year and last yr. Hajrullahu has also missed kicks during his career. We're really getting into a "kickers need to be perfect to be acceptable" area. And that's just never going to be the case. Leggs is young. He's not going anywhere. People really need to just get over it.
  19. agreed. Mudge was absolutely solid and had some fantastic years. But to suggest his name is mentioned when talking about the greatest the game has ever seen is just flat out making stuff up.
  20. I still say he should be the L'ks full time back. He's done more than anyone else back there with the exception of Wilder, who sounds like he might be done anyways. agreed. this is year 3 of poor play from him. To me it's not longer just an off year. He's done. Catches barely anything put his way and has 1 TD this year? I'd prefer to look at someone younger who at least shows some fight.
  21. They have had their moments this year for sure. In the 1st game, they had 4 sacks and held the Bombers rushing attack to under 50yrds I believe. In our 2nd game, Zack was not sacked and the Bombers had 150yrds on the ground. I'm hoping our ground game can keep up the same pace as the last few weeks and that Buck game plans to help Zack out with the blitzes which he struggled to do in MTL.
