  1. I was thinking it over and I suppose the flip side would also be true...as in a team with a very efficient O would also cause their D to play more snaps...potentially anyway. I was just thinking of the EDM game where Collaros had like 7 completions or something but they still won. The O that day didn't stay on the field either....Gawd I love football
  2. I wish there was a way we could compare snap counts between players. I'm not saying Mauldin is overrated. But I'd bet good money his snap counts were significantly higher than anyone else on the bombers (with similar games played) due to the fact that Ottawa's O was trash.
  3. We've often played more CNDs than is required in the past. So an American can fill in if needed should something happen to both CND rec.
  4. I'd honestly put Janarion 2nd on that list. He's been a top 2 or 3 returner since coming into the league. I'm fine moving on from everyone else with the obvious exception of Demski.
  5. I think there is still a role for Bighill on this team. I don't think he can be the same LB he has been. I'm hoping they use him as a typical MLB or WIL rather than a safety/LB like he has been. Also side note, Bighill has a cast on his Right hand. He recently had surgery to fix something
  6. As someone who worked for a for profit medical clinic, I can assure you the bottom line comes before anything else. And I honestly believe we had people with hearts running the show. Even still, at the end of the month/quarter/year...the discussion inevitably lead to $$. Put people who are ONLY interested in making $$ (which is eventually going to happen) and it won't be long before American style health care takes over.
  7. Well this didn't age too well I dont understand why the coach kept putting Maher out there. Go for 2!!! But at the end of the day, the good guys won.
  8. Does Ballsy know about this? I'm pretty sure he's still committed to Bo coming down to the criders.
  9. When the Vikings signed him to that deal I was so confused. Like....why? What has shown?
  10. Dennis, Couture are two pieces that could sure help...Trevor Harris while no superstar can win in this league. Lewis at WR, Demski... Etc etc. The pieces are very much available (assuming nothing changes). Add into the equation that it's not at all impossible for players to change teams and become productive (Yoshi?) and...at the very least let FA play out....holds true. It seems very much like damage control. Gotta try to keep those season ticket holders while they still can. Lol.
  11. That game was way closer than I expected it to be.
  12. My favorite CFL off-season tradition is people predicting standings in January. Lol
  13. Rourke to the Jags https://twitter.com/Bobthemediaguy/status/1614694452253323264?t=vWT0E4BcCfsYVavRrthSZA&s=19
  14. Welp, it finally caught up with me. Tested positive this morning. Felt like I had the flu yesterday. Feeling a bit better today but still down and out.
  15. Interesting about Dennis. I assumed he'd be a lock to resign with CGY.
  16. There was also the deep pass to Augustine in the 2019 banjo bowl. That pass always stuck out to me.
  17. You know there's far more than being able to make all the throws to starting in the NFL. Can you give an example of his time here where he didn't have the arm strength to complete a pass? I can think of numerous deep passes he hit on the money. I find it hard to believe a guy who could make all the throws in the CFL, is suddenly unable to make all the throws on a smaller field.
  18. I'd argue his game is much more suited to the CFL than NFL as well. More space to make things happen and generally smaller defensive players to run over.
