Yup that was 2009 against BC. 260 yards rushing which was a Bomber record and he would have had a CFL record and only needed 288 but Mike Kelly put him back on the field after only 2 plays and he had to wait three plays to be eligible (was injured on a play). He went it got the record and it was called back because he got a penalty for going back in. something like that!

Man that BC game was exciting! I remember it like it was only 10 years ago. Jyles threw a nice ball but never made it as a bonified QB in the league. Reid had some incredible speed and tore BC up over his short career in the league. Sanchez was the dirtiest player and should have been ejected for pulling the helmet off a Bomber Mike Renaud had a leg! I remember him recovering his own punt in a game at home. Ah the memories.

Yeah. Curious to know what he wanted vs what he got in BC and if we did give him what BC did who if anyone would we have had to give up.

They also think the Bombers are 100% healthy and that if they were 100% healthy they probably beat us. I don’t dispute they would be a lot better healthy but so would they Bombers. Depth is a wonderful thing.

Riders have Argos, Lions, Stamps, Stamps, Stamps. I don’t see them wining many if any of those games if Cody isn’t playing.

Yeah this is terrible. CFL doesn’t need QBs dropping. Masolli out a while yet or was that just last game? I don’t even know who they have for a third string.

Maybe if the Riders were more disciplined and didn’t need to start fights they wouldn’t have had 2 players ejected 🤷‍♂️ We also don’t know what was said on the field or in the pile which also maybe have played into the penalties and ejections. After watching the replays Harris probably should have been ejected as well. But not a chance it changes the outcome of the game.

I am more than confident the coaching staff will have this fixed before playoff time.

Was Liegghio supposed to be the FG kicker out of camp? Or was that Crapinga? Liegghio has a nice punt but I don’t think he was built to kick FGs. I think with some work he can do both positions and be good at it but I’m not going to be hard on him if his job out of camp was just punting and then was thrown into FGs when Crapinga went down.

Credit where credit is due. But Richie Hall deserves mad props. He wasn’t my first choice when they brought him in and his bend but don’t break D was brutal those first few years. It wasn’t until they brought in guys like Jeffcoat, Jackson, Bighill but he has those guys firing on all cylinders game in and game out. It’s a beauty to watch.

Which would definitely be a CFL record for a 14 game season 😂

Don’t forget Android Harris is still juicing and has the league wrapped around his finger somehow.

I knew about pulling them off early and the salary implications. I was just wondering if it had to be 6 full games or can they can back on the 6th game without the salary cap. But guess it doesn’t matter as I didn’t realize Grant has only been off 4 games.
