    I think with Powell going to Ottawa we need to lock up Brady. And then send Harris a photo of him wearing a rider jersey so that he comes to his senses and signs a team friendly deal and finish his career with The Bombers.

    This is really going to drive the price up for Lawler. I think Lawler is a better receiver and all around team guy then Duke. But no where near $260.

    Damn. I was kinda hoping we could have snagged him to back up ZC if we don’t re sign McGuire. Wondering what a new team and Buck could have done with him. Ah well.

    Agreed. Not only would he look gross in Green and White. He could possibly come back and use it as motivation against us. Unlikely scenario but something I don’t even want to think about lol. let’s get that contract signed Harris!

    Rumblings that Powell might be going back to Ottawa. If so that might mean no room for Harris there. So that leaves Sask as a possible spot if he doesn’t stick with the Bombers. And I can see him retiring before playing in green lol.

    I said the same thing. Same age I’d take August over Olive. But they are pretty close skill wise and I think Oliviera still hasn’t hit his full potential. I’d like both back if we can though. Another year together will really help Him grow I think.

    Yeah. Walter’s seems to have a very methodical approach when it comes to signing. Started with Oline, Dline, QB, DBs now he is on to WRs and I would assume RBs and a kicker would be next. Of course he had a few guys sprinkled inbetween but definitely seems to be well planned out.

    Yeah they are really nice. I was trying to get Alford originally but ended up getting Darby. Surprisingly the jersey barely fits me and I am not a very big guy. So I have no idea how he fit that on over pads. Dude must be tiny!

    I think that’s addition by subtraction for the Riders. Losing those guys will likely improve the mentality and the culture and allow the young guys to step up in a GC hosting year. I’m not sold on the Riders yet but I think they will still be contenders this year.
