Might have been easier to just list those under contract lol. The only saving grace in all this is all teams have huge lists this year due to all of the 1 year contracts. I trust Walters and crew will nail down many of these guys well before FA period.

That fan base is just hilarious at times. They constantly say ZC is just a game manager and a terrible QB and point to his 5 interceptions in the last two games. But fail to see that 3 of them were weather related and or the receiver. 2 were 100% on Zach. They also forget to mention the 4 that CF threw in the west semi and the numerous over throws. If you compare just this year Zach was 20 TDS to 6 Ints vs Cody’s 14/11. Remind me again of Cody’s stats in the last 2 Grey Cups? Now they want to make Duke the highest paid receiver…. If they make him the highest and Cody is making over $500k how do they solve the oline issues?

If the Cants manage to win the GC next year. The longest drought goes to Montreal and it would be going on 12 years. Crazy to think that as it feels like just yesterday they were dominating the CFL. Since Montreal went back to back every team other than the Cants have won and most teams have won it twice (Cal,Wpg,Sask,TO).

Come on now. According to Rider fans we have no players they want. All of their starters are far superior than ours and their depth is so deep they simply don’t need any of our “scrub”.

Does anyone else think that winning this back to back may have been harder than any other back to back win or easier? After winning in 2019 we figured we may lose quite a few players and we did lose some. But then we had an entire season off and risked losing guys to retirement, NFL etc. We managed to keep the core of a team together for 3 years. Had we played 2020 would we have repeated then and would this have been a 3 peat? I think this was a lot harder to win a back to back with a year off in between then the typical back to back.

And he’s only 31….. as a kicker he should have a good 10 years left in him.

Fun fact. The Riders have the same amount of grey cup wins as there have been grey cups decided in overtime…..
